I've been coming here since they first opened about 17 years ago. They are my favorite restaurant on Plainfield and some of the best American-Chinese food in all of Grand Rapids. Super kind staff (family run) and amazing prices, along with incredibly flavorful food with great portion sizes. I've never had a bad meal there!
I didn't know I liked Chinese food until I tried Rice Wok. This is now my neighborhood go to for a quick healthy affordable delicious meal regularly ready for pickup in 10 minutes ?Vegetarian options: Bean curd mixed vegetable is my favorite! I eat this almost once a week since discovering it!

Fast service and decent prices but the quality is poor. The texture of the chicken was soft like highly processed food and swimming in sauce. It's on par with frozen Chinese supermarket food. I tried a couple different chicken choices and will not return. Fast friendly service just poorly executed food.

You can’t find better Chinese food in Grand Rapids! I’m vegan, my partner is not. Rice Wok takes care of us both! The food is always YUMMY! I usually get the Szechuan Bean Curd (tofu) and vegetables. Today, I ordered Szechuan broccoli and carrot, no tofu, just for a change. I always get extra spicy-hot. If you’re vegan (or not) I highly recommend Rice Wok!!Vegetarian options: Rice Wok cooks vegetables and tofu to perfection.Dietary restrictions: Great place for vegans and vegetarians.

What I was hoping for. Reasonable portions at a reasonable price...although more beef and less onions in the Mongolian beef would earn a half star more. Fast and pleasant takeout service although lacking in ambiance...but who needs ambiance for takeout?
This place was Fantastic. It is the Best I've tasted in GR. The orange chicken was superb.
