We have been here many times! Food is always great. Last night we arrived. Our reservations for 5pm was not put in. We had 4 adults who got entrées and 3 kids who got the kids meals and kids were supposed to be free with the entrées. We were still charged for the kids meals $181.00 for the entire bill. There were 2 other Familes who were seated after my Family and they were helped first. Waitress was extremely slow and needs more training. I don't think we will be back.

Kinda looks like a dive from the outside but the food was excellent at a good price. We'll worth the visit.

Our server Ben was top notch! Food and drinks were super tasty as well. Try not to fill up on the delicious warm bread before your meal comes out! Atmosphere is just a bit odd. The bar areas seem dim and bare. Also weird hut in the entryway just seems out of place.

Good quality burger with a great blend of seasonings. An atmosphere and service a couple steps above many restaurants, but still casual enough.

- Dish: Grand Burger with American Cheese - $18. The burger patty is half pound and you CAN get a double making it a full pound if beef for another $5. I ordered it medium and it was maybe a touch above that, but excellent! The seasoning gave it a very slight Texas twang and hearty flavor.

The toppings were good, thought the lettuce was a touch limp. It was well balanced overall and the bun was a great texture. The side of mayo let’s you decide how much you put on.

- Side: Fries. These are on my top ten list of fries (maybe top five). They are about the way I’d choose to make them (if I could cook this good). The batter and seasoning were spot on. The skin left on the potatoes was light enough to be noticed for a good texture, but not overly. And the soft interior was amazing.

The burger was $18 with the fries which is on the higher end of a standard burger, but is a half pound patty. Maybe needs a few more fries to justify the cost, but the rest of the experience makes up for this, too. I’m on the fence with the cost.

- Side: Bread and Butter. The butter was soft and standard. The bread had a tough and slightly thicker crust, but a full and soft inside that was hearty but good soft bread flavor (stuck on adjectives on this one). Not soft and sweet like some steakhouses, but good quality.

- Service: The server we had was always attentive, cheerful, helpful, and everything you needed. Everyone was on their game and super awesome! My burger was on my table in less than 10 minutes after ordering.

I think the one major flaw I had with this restaurant was researching prices ahead of time. The website had all their menu items, but no prices. No one had posted a recent copy of their menu on Google Maps or anywhere else. I am posting it here for your benefit.

- Atmosphere: They have two sides. One with TVs and one as a quieter restaurant feel. We chose the quiet side. It had a higher class Texas class. Everything was in its place and clean. I even saw someone (a manager?) walking around inspecting things. This place allows for casual, but is careful to pay attention to detail.

They also have seating outside with a wonderful view of the Grand River! You can sit outside or on an enclosed deck.

- Conclusion: I recommend them more for the service, but the burger and fries were still amazing, too.

Visited Saturday in October 4:30-5:00pm

Parking: There were a ton of parking spaces! I am not sure what this place looks like on a Friday, but I imagine this place can handle most anything it has coming its way.

Food is always pretty good. This night they were out of prime rib, which was what we went there for. Overall, things are getting tired and worn out. The small number of customers reflected that.

Visited tonight and ordered steak, medium rare. I asked for a salad as one of my sides, but asked that it be brought out with the meal. A while later, the waitress brought bread and my salad, then disappeared to take the next table’s order, who were seated maybe 15 minutes after us. Fine, she forgot, I’ll just move it to the side until my steak comes. Waiting. Next table that came in well after us now has their dinner delivered and I’m still on my first drink, with half a loaf of bread, an untouched salad, and no food. No worries, food came quickly after that. Except she dropped it off and disappeared. I cut into the steak and it’s well done. Not what I ordered. Good thing I saved the salad so I have something to eat while my dinner companion enjoys her steak. The waitress finally, 40 minutes later, comes to pick up things and deliver the check, and sees my steak. Oh sorry. Leaves with it. Comes back and says sorry again, I talked to the manager would you like them to come over? Wow - you mean the manager knows this got fubar by the kitchen and didn’t come over on their own? Yeah, no, guess not. But I’d like it to go now so I’m not sitting here another 40 minutes while I wait and then eat, forcing my dinner companion to sit there watching me. Sure sure sorry sorry. Comes back with the steak in a takeout box. Nothing to cut and check it - just the butter knife I have because everything else was taken away. Cut it as best I could - overcooked again. She took the price of the steak off the check, which I appreciated because I’m not eating this shoe leather. If you want terrible service from waitstaff that you’ll see three times in over an hour total, that not once comes by to check your meal or refill your drink order, with a good mini loaf of bread and TVs showing the weather, this is your place. My dog enjoyed the steak when I got home. You cannot build your brand on being a steakhouse and not know anything about steak this bad. Just tragic. Overpriced and under delivered. Will not return. This place was closed for a long time not long ago, and I wondered why - I wonder no more.
