Updated Review 4/13/24: Still delicious! I got the umami slam Sammy and for dessert I got the blueberry lemon crepe.Came here after the auto show for dinner. I like the interior, with the cool hanging lights and plants. Service is great, our waitress was really cool and checked on us frequently. She was a fun waitress too, not one who just takes the plates and doesn't talk.We started with an appetizer, Okonomiyaki. Beautiful presentation, it reminded me of a beautiful crepe. It wasn't everyone's favorite, but I really liked it. Good texture and packed with flavor. My main course was the Kati Roll. The texture of the bread was lovely, it was crispy and soft at the same time. The lamb was delicious and perfectly seasoned, and had one thing on the roll that I didn't think would work with lamb, but it did: Avocado. My dessert was the mango sticky rice. Oh my goodness that coconut cream is magical! Definitely one of the best desserts I've had in awhile!

Great fusion spot to try many different cuisines more accessible to local palates.Only real grip was that the chair backs were extremely small and difficult to hang your winter wear on.

Roam is amazing, especially for vegetarians and non-alcoholic drinkers. I stayed at the Amway and got Roam 3 times in 4 days. The mango sticky rice is next level delicious - I ate 4 times, and it was just as good/big as takeout as it was in the restaurant. They have tons of NA cocktails, fancy sodas, coffees, and other NA drink. They also have lots of good flavors across the unique menu and interesting sauces for your fries. The elote salad was creamy, filling, and tasty. Cam was my server twice, and they were patient, knowledgeable, and fun - a true delight. Also, the bathrooms are gender-inclusive! And, small thing, but the chairs were comfy, AND they have outdoor seating. Definitely go to Roam!Vegetarian options: Lots of items have a vegetarian base price, and you can add proteinDietary restrictions: Gluten-free options, and the server asked if we had dietary restrictionsWheelchair accessibility: I believe there's a ramp right inside the restaurant and no steps to the entrance or the bathrooms

The waiter was very friendly and helped us with all of our questions since this was our first time here and the next time I visit Grand Rapids, I will definitely come back. The food was also amazing and the drinks were really good too. And they had a good variety of nonalcoholic drinks.

Everything was delicious! The hash balls were crispy and left you craving another full plate. The sweet aloha was the perfect blend of flavors balancing sweet and savory. I’ve had better falafels sandwiches that had hummus and more sauce, but the falafels themselves were great!

ROAM did not disappoint. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cool and the food menu is fantastic. I enjoyed the Korean bbq tacos but will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. Could not recommend enough!

It's a lot smaller on the inside, but it's definitely a great experience! If you're feeling adventurous, give them a shot. There is a parking structure right next door to the entrance.

One of the best casual restaurants I've ever been to. I travel for a living, and have had the opportunity to have food all around the country and this place is hands down one of the best. The menu is like an international food truck convention. Everything is scratch made with quality ingredients and a huge attention to detail. The Umami Slam Sammy was one of the best things Iver ever ordered out. Such a wonderful fusion and flavor and texture explosion. Think pulled pork sandwich meets Japanese and Hawaiian cuisine. Side choices are fries, salad, chips & salsa. I indulged in the Red Lentil Dal soup. Great flavor profile, texture spice level. The home made Naan that went with it was a nice and unexpected touch.Ashley took great care of me and was a master of the menu. No small feat when every dish exclusive unique ingredients from all over the world.

Favorite restaurant in Grand Rapids! We’ve been here twice now and it was amazing each time. Sat at the bar the first time and at a table the second time. Service was spectacular. Super friendly and personable. The food is so delicious and unique. WORTH the money. Great atmosphere, very LGBTQIA+ friendly. Will always come here every time we’re in town!
Had a great time here. Can’t wait to come back and try other stuff on the menu. Tried a few different cocktails and they were all very tasty. Paid parking lots nearby but also street parking as well. Came here before a show at 20 Monroe and it was only a 7 minute walk away. Great location as it’s close to many different venues
