I hadn't been to a Russ's Restaurant in years. The decor hadn't changed, the lobby was dated, the pies in the pie case were covered with plastic wrap and tasted like they were. The turkey dinner special they had tasted like boxed stuffing, the potatoes were stiff, and the turkey had no seasoning and was in little bits and pieces. I haven't had food this bad since I was in junior high in the cafeteria. I will say our server was very pleasant and attentive. I can honestly say I will never go back

EVERY time I go through the drive- thru, my order is wrong - no utensils, no napkins, no coleslaw, etc. Time for management to take a good look at who is packing the to go orders. Also, the girl on the speaker taking orders is less than helpful. All done with Russ’.

It's your hometown, around the corner, down the street place. This is comfort food that doesn't surprise you. It's exactly what it claims to be without any pretense. Don't come here trying to make it anything more than that! And I visit about once or twice a month to just sit, relax, and eat in peace. Try the fish and chips. It's all you can on Wednesday.
