Ruth's Chris Steak House

We had a great night at Ruth Chris! Our meal was absolutely delicious and the service from our waiter Brad was outstanding! All of us ordered the ribeye and it did not disappoint! They were all cooked to perfection, and my leftovers made an amazing steak and egg breakfast the next day.😎 I will always love Ruth Chris and will always come back!

My husband & I have been coming here since the first year they opened the restaurant at the Amway Grand Hotel. This year we added a special guest, my 7 year old grand daughter who was excited to go, "Fancy" with her Glamma & Papa! The food was amazing as always. The service was a disappointment. Our waiter came to re-fill our water glasses (husband & I ) he left without filling up my grand daughters glass which was also low. It irritated me! She is also a guest here and deserved the same service! I had to ask him to please fill her glass as well. We were also disappointed that they did not serve us the anniversary dessert that we always have had. Not sure if this was no longer happening or if it was the service. My grand daughters meal came with ice cream. We did not know this until we had asked if we could get the chocolate mousse dessert. He then brings that dessert with her ice cream and advised us that her meal comes with the ice cream. Mind you, he had been to our table twice to take our bill and which we were not ready. We wanted that free anniversary dessert. We felt forgotten a bit as they were busy. Then we felt rushed a bit to pay our tab and was not offered the special lil anniversary dessert we have always had. We were offered to buy dessert off the menu. It just all sat wrong with us. Things seemed off with the service with the main guy. Because you know, they have several helpers! The helpers were more attentive then the waiter honestly. We have been doing Ruths Chris for our anniversary for however many years this location has been open. A disappointment this time around for sure. I dont like leaving negative reviews when theres more good with Ruths Chris than bad that we have experienced. Sometimes,all it takes is one time to ruin, what once was a good exciting time. Like I said we had our grand daughter with us to go "Fancy" and she was so excited. I felt she was forgotten and thats not okay. She was the most beautiful girl in the place!

A+++ Wow we are absolutely blown away by the quality, service and ambience. We truly felt special and had an absolutely wonderful experience.

Everything was awesome. The stuffed chicken and filet were amazing. We had the pecan sweet potatoes, augratin potatoes, lobster mac n cheese, shrimp, and French onion soup and every one was fabulous. Even the bread was warm and delicious. Even leftovers the next day were yummy. Couldn't have been any better!

As always a great meal at Ruth Chris. Service was great, food was delicious. The steak and lobster were cooked to perfection.

Although the food is always outstanding at Ruth Chris, the real treat this time was the service provided by Michael. He was a real professional. Knew when to chat with us, knew when to hold back. Gave us time between his checks on is to let us enjoy our meal and conversation. We were celebrating our anniversary and the whole staff was very friendly and accommodating which helped make our experience special.

Ben and staff did an amazing job of making it a fun night for our group of women. Great experience.

Our experience at Ruth's Chris Grand Rapids was outstanding as always, which is why we love to return for special occasions. Despite it being a busy night for Artprize, we had impeccable and attentive service. We had noted a special request on our reservation and were pleasantly surprised the manager answered staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Per usual our steaks were extraordinary and cooked to perfection. We enjoyed many of our favorites. Highly recommend getting their famous Sweet Potato Casserole and topping it with some vanilla ice cream as your dessert. At a time when we have seen Ruth's Chris close in other areas, we are so grateful to still have this fine dining gem right in GR. This was a big splurge meal but we also enjoy just dropping by the bar for drinks, apps, and sides on occasion. If you are going for a special celebration, be sure to get the filet.

It was our anniversary and our first time dining here. The experience as a whole was fantastic. We were immediately greeted and seated within a minute or so. All of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The food came out quickly but we never felt rushed to leave. I would definitely recommend and will be returning.

The drinks and appetisers were amazing. The sea bass and the steak were too salty and lacked any other taste. The service was amazing.. overall it was a bad value for money due to the salty dishes.

The crab cakes were probably the best I've ever eaten and my husband's NY strip was delicious.

Food was exquisite and only problem was an hour delay after salad course before main course arrived (for 2 people).
