Ruth's Chris Steak House

Our server was the best and took care of all my needs. Recommended good drinks and and hos conversation was enjoyable. Will come back again!

Sadly they were out of the seafood tower and that was the 1 thing my 12 year old was excited about. We switched him to steak and lobster. The steak was overcooked we sent that back and his liberated tail was chewy. Never saw a manager. We did get a new steak but it was at the very end. Sad for a birthday surprise

Pitiful, Friday evening and we didn't even get the second string, maybe the JVs at best for service or food. All 4 ordered filets and everyone of them was overcooked so much it didn't resemble our order. The sides were barely warm.. They brought out 3 of our orders again which meant one of us, the hungriest just put up with his so he ate alone. Had to argue with our waiter about whether or not they could saute the mushrooms or not! A total fiasco! They offered a free dessert, No Thanks! We paid top dollar and left.

The ribeye steak was the best I ever had. Both waiters were sensitive to our anniversary celebration of 52 years!

Celebrated our anniversary at Ruth's Chris and it was flawless. The crab cakes were amazing, and my 11oz filet mignon was cooked perfectly. We loved the asparagus with hollandaise and garlic mashed potatoes—everything was rich and delicious. The service was top-notch, and the atrium dining added an elegant touch that was well worth the extra cost. Pricey, yes—but you absolutely get what you pay for. A perfect spot for a special occasion!

Our experience was very enjoyable, from the initial drinks at the bar, to the excellent care and service provided by both Joyce and Nathan. The food was superb as always and the pace of delivery was just right. We truly enjoyed our experience. Mike Migliore

My husband and I dined here for our anniversary and it was out of this world. I got the filet and it was melt in your mouth good. My husband got the lobster Mac and cheese and that was also amazing. Also, the portions were terrific! You cannot beat the prices for both flavor and portion size. Will be coming here again.

Disappointed that you can get a national marketing email for Ruth's Chris for different specials, can reserve a table in Grand rapids off that email, but arrive and told it's a franchise and the specials are not available. Use caution if you see advertising from Ruth's Chris as it may not be applicable

They acknowledged our anniversary. Food was top-notch, service excellent. Made for a perfect celebration of our 55 years of marriage!

We received an ad for a 3 course $55 dinner special. When booking the reservation I had to choose the restaurant location. I had to pay a $40 reservation fee to hold the reservation. At no time did it mention this special was not available at this location. It was only after we were seated did we learn it was not available. Classic bait and switch! Our time at the restaurant was as normal, excellent. It just wasn't what we expected .

The food was fantastic. Probably one of the top 5 steaks I've had. The sides and desserts were also fantastic. If I was to knock it I would say it was a little loud inside. However with that being said I would definitely come back.

If I could leave negative stars I would. From the minute, we walked in the door it was a terrible experience. A very special anniversary dinner and we chose Ruth Chris when we should've chosen Bowdies Chophouse. The service was awful with the exception of the person who cleared the table. She was amazing. The food was so terrible. A steak that I ordered was raw to the point that when I cut it, I felt resistance because it was not at all cooked. The waitress after that only responded to my husband. I've never in my life had such a terrible experience at a very well-known expensive steakhouse. Bodie will have my vote from now on. I do not plan to return to Ruth Chris.

I invited a guest to celebrate an accomplishment. It was meant to be a very special night and I have never paid so much for a dinner, so I expected excellent service. We had looked at the online menu ahead of time and had decided upon the Lobster Bisque before a surf and turf meal and dessert. We had a reservation and upon arrival, they attempted to seat us twice, but each time they tried, they encountered tables pushed together for large parties that they didn't know about, so they had a hard time locating a two top for us. The 3rd time they attempted to seat us, they found a table. We ordered the lobster bisque, but we were told that they no longer carry it (not that is was out for the night). It was on the online menu for the GR location and on the menu at the table. So, that was a bummer. Our meal was great after that. I had just wished that we had a smoother arrival and that the online and print menu matched their offerings.

Absolutely perfect! Impeccable service and outstanding food, prepared and plated wonderfully! Our cocktails were amazing too. Hats off to the mixologists who are masters of their craft. We celebrated my husband's birthday and had a lovely time! Many thanks to Jake, who paid close attention to every detail, ensuring our dinner event was special. Bravo!
