Simply delicious. Twice now I’ve ordered stewed chicken with yellow rice. This dish is so flavorful and meat falls off the bone. Warm and cozy comfort food, a must stop while traveling through SW Grand Rapids.

My wife and I stop for lunch, is the meaning to try it. I got steak with rice and beans she got the stewed chicken rice and beans both were fabulous. We sat at the little patio table and chairs out front. We will certainly be back.

Not only is the food absolutely, authentically delicious the customer service is A1, everyone that works here is super nice and they have no problem explaining to you exactly what each item is. The passionfruit juice is delicious and the sauce is a 10 out of 10!!

Had the pleasure of driving the owner to the restaurant, very kind and polite gentleman. As a tip for bringing him he gave me a variety of food to try. Let me tell you this is authentic. The food was perfectly seasoned. You can taste the historical family recipes. The qualities this restaurant has is very rare. Thank you again for the hot fresh meal.
