The food is excellent and the portions are generous, but if you’re planning on ordering takeout it never takes less than 45 minutes. There is nothing “express” about it. Most recent experience took an hour for my food and in the 25 minutes I spent sitting in the empty restaurant waiting, not a single other customer came in to pick up food. It doesn’t make sense.

I would do 3.5 if I could because it was a somewhat decent experience.

I'll start with the good
The seaweed salad and crab rangoons had great portion sizes for the price and tasted great.
Rice and vegetables were great with my meal.

The bad and ugly
My chicken was unbearably dry, I tried taking smaller bites but I was chewing forever before I could finish the bite, I knew it was overcooked because there were some juicy pieces in my chicken.
But that was my meal I don't care what I eat I just eat it.

Now when it comes to my lovey girlfriend's meal it better be good.
She ordered the spicy tuna with spicy mayo, but not only did she not receive the mayo until it was asked for again the tuna itself was disgusting. Having worked in food service I knew right away that the tuna that was served was either freezer-burnt or sat out too long and oxidized, we both spat out a piece we tried. The texture was mushy and unf

This was fortunately fixed by the manager kindly removing it from the bill which was appreciated.

Grand Rapids Communities! Wake up please… this place extremely over price. They don’t greet you when walk into their business. If you don’t order ahead of time, they passive aggressively will tell you your wait time will 30-60 minutes. The limited veggies available is a disgrace especially for as close to the demographic area they serve the most. We all must be wise on what a business can bring to the community members besides meat, meat, meat, and pop, and lack of variety of fresh vegetables and fruit and respectful and professional greetings, and communication. The over pricing here is disgusting.

Recommended dishes: Large Beef Fried Rice

Food is fine, but they're pretty expensive for what you get. They demand payment up front (so be prepared to give your card over the phone), and wait times are pretty egregious. When you get your food its great, but the process to do so is an absolute slog, seems to take forever despite nobody being there. Fried Rice and Katsu: taken over 40 minutes multiple times.
