Schnitz Bakery is a beloved institution in town, known for its delicious and filling meals. Their sandwiches, like the Roast Beef and BLT, are meaty and flavorful, with generous portions of bacon. The bakery offers a variety of bread options and homemade soups. The staff is friendly, creating an inviting atmosphere. With 24 sandwich choices ranging from $10 to $13, including the popular #24 The Big John, Schnitz Bakery remains a great choice for a quick and satisfying bite.
Recent reviews highlight the irresistible Almond Poppyseed Muffin, praised for its great muffin top and soft, moist body. Customers recommend getting it immediately. The cinnamon raisin bread is also noted as wonderful with breakfast. While the doughnuts are generally good, they are mostly yeast varieties and some prefer denser options. The friendly staff adds to the experience, though the parking lot is extremely small. Overall, Schnitz Bakery continues to impress with its quality food, making it worth a visit despite any rough appearances.
