We had a fantastic meal at scholar with great service. We ate downstairs in the study, which had moody, romantic lighting. Highly recommend the dates as an appetizer or the crabcakes. Also, one of the best dirty martinis I’ve had in a long time. If you’re looking for a date night spot in Grand Rapids this is the one.
Food and cocktails were amazing but best of all was the incredible service from Carlos. His recommendations were on point and he was extremely knowledgeable about the food, wine, and life in general. He anticipated my needs without being pushy and made the experience truly special. He even shook my hand on the way out! We will be asking for him next time we come in. Thank you, Carlos and team!
What a great spot! Walking by and noticed the cool window seating area and the interior vibe. Decided to come in for a drink, absolutely loved it, and stayed for a few drinks. The downstairs has a fantastic vibe with the fireplace, comfy cozy chairs and stylish design. Awesome for couples and small groups to have intimate experiences. Alivia was an incredible host and we loved conversing with her. Will definitely return again!
