We were road-tripping from Dallas, Tx and staying in Grand Rapids. We noticed simple fish online and decided to try it out! I had the teriyaki chicken, & my husband had the fish katsu. We also had a complimentary salad with gyoza, which was also very good! The staff were friendly, the food was delicious, pricing is a little on the high end. A little music in the restaurant would improve atmosphere a bit. Great place and since they weren’t busy it was just the staff and us....
Absolutely delicious! Only reason service wasn’t a 5 star was because the hot food took a long while to come out. The waitress was attentive and kind. We had sushi, poke bowl, and fried rice. It was so good!!
New owner is screwing the pooch. This used to be hands down the best place in the area for a great price too. Last few times I have got it, the wait is way too long, (an hour for 5 rolls for the table when we were only ones in the restaurant for example) the food quality has gone down, and now another huge price hike. I hate to say I won’t be back… will miss the old simple fish
