First time there and went after a show, we were able to get in earlier and we enjoyed our dinner very much!

- $45 halibut plate (with mussels and prawns) was visibly overdone on every item - $38 scallops (fennel jam, kohlrabi, burnt carrot, sauce normande) sides and sauce were ok, scallops did not present as well as a restaurant at this price range should - $15 bananas foster was the size of a flat cupcake; nice detail to decor but taste did not match it - service: I asked as dinner was served what the bread plate and butter knife was for and if we should have been served bread; server said it was extra so we ordered it - halfway through meal I asked server to cancel the bread since we were nearly done with our food; she said 'it's baked to order, that's why it's taking some time' - bread arrived another 5 minutes later, clearly not warm and as if cut from a store-bought loaf

Disappointing overall. Very friendly server but they were out of over half the menu and food quality didn't match pricing.

I can't taste very well since Covid years ago, but my family said the chicken and scallops were very salty. We went there a few years ago and it was great overall, so either a change in chef, menu, both, or just a bad night for cooking?! Service was fine.

Poor service with a mediocre lunch. Convenient because we were staying at the hotel. I would have expected a broader menu and better service.

French fancy! Excellent service (Emma is the best server), gorgeous place and truly special food. If you have a special occasion, this is a perfect place to go. Or if you simply want elevated dishes, you can wear jeans and go too.

Amazing food every time I dine here. Staff are so friendly, and happy, they accommodated me an hour earlier than my reservation. I know every time they can't do that, but when they can it's very considerate of them to do so. One of my favorite restaurants in Grand Rapids

Service was awesome. Liz the server and the hostess Bella were both top notch and went above and beyond to make our holiday special. Earlier in the day we were looking for somewhere to get a small bite and watch the football game but the hotel was only offering their Thanksgiving buffet. Bella took the initiative to find an open local restaurant for us to go to, really exceptional young woman! Later we had Thanksgiving dinner at Margaux and Liz was spectacular too!

The Cherlin Champagne Experience with Isiah Thomas and Stephen Tulloch was an exceptional event! The five-courses prepared for the wine and coffee were absolutely amazing. And I want to publicly recognize the kitchen staff for making delectable alternative dishes to accommodate for my seafood/shellfish allergy. KUDOS are due for all who was involved and/or served on this wonderful evening!

We went for brunch buffet and were seated at a table by the entrance with one chair and opposite seamed cushions. We immediately shifted the table location to avoid a one of us sitting on the seam. (Perhaps table spacing/number should be changed in that area?). We waited a while to be greeted at entrance, as well as by our main table waitstaff. Food was good, adequate selections on the buffet, but not overly impressive. (My husband's Bloody Mary was sub par.) Only one person was making omelets and some items were not replenished as timely as expected. Butter was missing at the toaster area, and when my husband notified staff, they said they would let someone know. (It took at least fifteen minutes to be brought out, so he just had jam instead.) We had dinner the night before and all was great! ??
