I was staying at the hotel for a conference and decided to dine there. It took well over 10 minutes for my server to even acknowledge that I was there and get my drink order. Many times after that she'd walk by and never took my order. The restaurant wasn't overly busy where I'd think that would make sense. The food tasted great, but was in my opinion over priced. I was one person, who got a soup, side of fries an entree and a soda and my bill was $74. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and was nice to look out and see all of that.

The duck confit was the best I've had, and it's a dish I seek out. The accompanying sauce was flavorful and just the right amount. Green and lima beans were fresh and clean and cooked just right. A couple of glasses of a côtes du Rhone were perfect. A pasta dish was excellent, more than we could finish. We were surprised this fine restaurant wasn't busier but we arrived late, around 8:50pm and it was Monday. The decor is sophisticated and modern. Seating and lighting were comfortable. We could converse easily. In contrast to our excellent dinner, breakfast was just so so, though the service was fine. We didn't do buffet for breakfast.

Being seated nest to the bar and the constant foot traffic in and out of the patio with the opening of the door allowing warm wind to blow on me, did not create an atmosphere that invited me to linger over dinner and drinks.

Very nice overall, I recommend the truffle fries abd the service was great. That said, I dont recommend the steak. I dont think the preparation was bad. The flavor was good. But it definitely wasn't a 80.00 cut of beef.

This is by far the best restaurant I have been to in Grand Rapids!!! I went with a friend before a show and we were both blown away by our meals, drinks, the attention from our server, and the cool vibe/atmosphere. I will DEF be back again. Thank you!!!!

Loved the summer menu options - halibut was great. The whitefish dip to start was excellent, not just fish blended with heavy dairy products. Wine options pair nicely with menu. Service as usual is perfect. Definitely a o to restaurant when we are in GR.

The food was TOO salty! I ordered Duck (canard). The meet was warmed up and it made it become TO SALTY (at least the veggies were fresh). The butter that comes with the bread was TOO SALTY! And the bread was too hard (including that one piece was uncooked). My husband liked his fish as it was freshly cooked, but I was not impressed. I made a reservation to celebrate my husband's Birthday and I made a note of that in my reservation, and no one said anything to him. I didn't enjoy my first visit, and I don't plan to get back.

The mussels were beyond our expectations!!! The Mediterranean sea bass was to die for! I did not see a review on this dish, but it is a must try. Definitely will be returning.
