We waited 30 minutes. Then we were told their kiosk didn’t process our order. Mad me run my card again. We waited another 10 min. No apologies just shoved our food at us. Hospitality and Service are dead in our society. 😒

Food was absolutely warm and delicious! Service was quick and staff were great time wise. Dining room needed a sweep on the floor but other than that, I don’t have any negative feedback. Absolutely love Steak N Shake!!

All the lights on and they were "open" based on the time, since it was only 11:30pm on a Saturday night. No one was there. No one answered the drive thru.

Food was good, as expected. I don't like that I order my own food, pick it up from the counter, and take care of cleaning my table. I get that it's not a typical sit-down restaurant, but I prefer to have a server like it used to be.

Have started coming here quite a bit recently and always amazing customer service and great food. The woman working the drive through today at 4:50pm was very rude and inconsiderate.
We’ve came through more than 10 times and placed our orders online and gone through the drive through to grab them - the whole point of mobile ordering also - and she would only repeat to come in and grab them from the front. Even after we said that we’ve came through multiple times and nobody told us that before. Unprofessional and rude. If every other employee in the building has us go through the drive through just fine then they need to uphold that, not change their mind whenever they please.
*All the other employees were awesome! The women working the drive through needs some customer service training - coming from someone who has worked in the same field:)

Love steak and shake. But I don't much like having to put in my own order on the screen. There is no service anymore. Or even a need to communicate. That's all lol.

Stopped in to wax nostalgic with my lady today, and was sadly very dissappointed to find only automated kiosks, with multiple cameras capturing MY FACE CLOSE UP. This place used to have servers, and the atmosphere was what it was all about. I know minimum wage has put a hit on affordablity at places like this, but here they've destroyed their entirw business model. I DO NOT appreciate the extra time it took me to fill in the order myself. I DO NOT admire the blatant lack of human experience. Sadly, unless I hear they've revamped their business model, I will never return.
