I was told there is a rule that if you more than 2 drinks within 1 hour, you will cut you off? Never heard of that before, but when I left a 0 dollar tip, the bartender decided to come to my table and complain about it? It’s your right to cut me off as it is my right to leave whatever tip I think is fit. My bill was 20$ so you’re coming about 4$? Unprofessional. Didn’t get her name, but it was the older blonde girl. I won’t be coming back

Honestly, the previous staff was so much better. The new team was rude, unprofessional, and had a really snotty attitude. Save yourself the disappointment and go literally anywhere else but Steel Cat . You’ll thank me later.

My go-to bar. Love this place. Super cool bartenders who remember your drink of choice. After a few visits, you walk in, and they already know what you're going to drink. Tip them well, and you won't be waiting long for a drink.

The daytime lady reminded me of a disgruntled democrat on inauguration day - very bitter! It seemed she either hated life or maybe just her job. Either way, her attitude made me very uncomfortable and was unable to enjoy my time there.

I wouldnt recommend this bar even to the most inebriated individuals. The drinks are watered down, the establishment is always packed because it’s so tiny and if you're not a regular, expect to wait a long time to be served. The odor inside reminds me of a rotting raccoon on a scorching 90-degree day. Giving this place one star is being too generous. The staff's level of rudeness is beyond comprehension.
The owner loves to charge customers of the business around steel cat with astronomically high parking fees. Scumbag business tactics to leach off the public instead of actually running a good business.

Steel cat is officially the worst bar in Grand Rapids. There are 2 female bartenders that are very disrespectful, racist people. They threaten to call the cops on innocent customers. Female Bartenders at steel cat tend to short peoples change$$$ without the customers knowing . Horrible horrible customer service just shut the whole bar Down or fire those female employees at this point 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎🤮
