This is my favorite bar downtown Grand Rapids. They have a lot of vegan friendly food options and a massive whiskey selection. They have old cartoons and sitcoms playing as well as arcade games. The staff is wonderful and helpful.

The burger was delicious. I had the call it whatever you want. I would order it again, but I would love to try the others. Service was very attentive and friendly.

Very good food and very good environment for inclusivity. Wish I didn't have to be told by other patrons that you have to order food at the actual bar and that you wouldn't be served per table.

Used to be one of our favorite spots for their whiskey flights. Food is mediocre now and the menu is limited. Definitely won't be going back.

Disappointing Family Experience at Stella's Lounge
We recently dined at Stella's Lounge in Grand Rapids with our family, hoping for a great meal, but the experience left a lot to be desired. While the atmosphere may suit some, it's not particularly family-friendly.
Our biggest concern was when my young daughter was served a burger that was supposed to be well-done, but arrived medium-rare and undercooked. We brought this to our waitress’s attention, but there was no apology or offer to fix it, which was both disappointing and concerning.
To make matters worse, a bus girl asked if we were done with our food several times within just a few minutes, making us feel rushed and unwelcome. It was clear they wanted us out, despite the fact that we were still trying to enjoy our meals and play the arcade games.
Additionally, the sticky floors and menus gave the restaurant a dirty feel, making the overall experience less pleasant. If you're dining with kids, this is likely not the best option. A little more attention to food safety, cleanliness, and customer service would make Stella's more enjoyable for families.

Stopped in for drinks. Waited 10 minutes at a table and never saw a waitress. Went to the bar and was told we could only order from a waitress. Since we weren’t able to get served, and it was late afternoon and they weren’t particularly busy, we went to Big Mini Putt and were served promptly by a very friendly staff.

I visited this bar with a group of people while traveling, and the experience was shockingly unprofessional. The bartender—who I suspect may also be the manager—was unbelievably rude to one member of our group for absolutely no reason. When questioned about her attitude, instead of resolving the issue, she doubled down on her behavior, refusing to serve this person. The lack of customer service and basic decency was staggering, especially considering the hospitality industry relies on both. Our group decided to leave, taking our business elsewhere, and I can’t imagine how this establishment thinks it can sustain success treating customers this way. If you’re looking for a bar that values its patrons, I strongly recommend avoiding this place.
