Refused to serve me, wasted my lunch break here. I was charged for my food and when I arrived to pick it up I’m sitting there for ten minutes before they tell me that my order was canceled and refunded yet they never gave a reason for why yet they happily served other people. Wasted my entire lunch break here, I work right next door and will gladly be taking my service to Palermo’s or SoHo sushi instead. Ridiculous, at least offer a reason as to why my order was canceled while you serve others right in front of my face, unfortunately had to starve throughout my work shift since I didn’t have any other time to go elsewhere. Absolutely unprofessional. Never even received my refund. Definitely won’t be here again.

Not great. Sushi was just OK, service was good. We used to frequent Sushi Kuni, and Shogun before it changed hands. Just not the same. ☹️

Great place to take family. We were seated in a private room as we had six of us. Our waitress was amazing! Highly recommended.

I've had this place on my mind for ten years to try it out, was finally able to do so, this really hit the spot as far as authentic Korean flavors as I was in Seoul for a year 20 years ago .

The food was delicious and prices were very fair, the staff were also very accommodating and the restaurant itself is clean and the lighting creates a great atmosphere
Delicious sushi. Always great !
After having lunch for the first time at Sushi Kuni today, and having had several other Japanese restaurants in the greater GR area, I can honestly say this is a new favorite for me.We started with the spring rolls which came out crispy and piping hot. The sauce they came with was of the typical sweet chili variety, but it was noticeably less thick and saccharine than other places. For mains I got the salmon bento and my partner got the bibimbop tofu. The bento box here is the best I’ve had. The tempura was perfect; light and crisp with what tastedto be fresh oil. It had nice sized slices of fresh sashimi laid over an actual shizo leaf!I’m pescatarian and they were even accommodating with the chef’s choice item that comes with the bento. The salmon was excellent and the teriyaki sauce it was draped in was rich and tasty. My partner really enjoyed her bibimbop. I had a bite and the gochujang was well balanced; nice amount of heat but not overwhelming and it was thinner than other gochujang I’ve had, which was nice because you could distribute it more evenly.Sushi Kuni has excellent food, a warm welcoming atmosphere, exceptional service, and great value. I can’t wait for my next visit!
