This is my favourite sushi spot due to food alone (I do wish they had a stand alone space, but the market isn’t so bad either). The head sushi chef is super nice and greets me kindly every time I come here. I am a picky eater so I haven’t explored a whole lot of the menu, but the rolls I get are always delicious. You should try this place out for yourself!

Located inside the Downtown Market, this sushi counter is worth your time. They make the sushi in front of you. The shrimp tempura sushi was filling and hit the spot!

I’ve been coming here for a while & each time, Johnny and Margret are seriously the best. They go above and beyond with their work and are so kind. And the food !? Even though I’m lame and stick to California rolls, is amazing . My favorite place for sushi !!

Management is extremely rude and confrontational. But seeing reviews from others who had dealt with the management there, it's not an uncommon experience. They refused to give their names when asked by multiple people who witnessed their behavior.
You would be hard pressed to find some better sushi in the Midwest. There are only a handful of really good places sushi places I’ve been in and around Michigan, and this is one of them. We had some sashimi and a few different rolls right at the sushi bar. Both the food and service were exceptional. If you are good with the busy market vibe, drop in and have some great sushi. I’m sure we’ll be back! Thank You!
