Tacos el Cuñado Kentwood

I don’t usually leave reviews but this felt necessary. We ordered take out from here and the food tasted like rubber. We ordered the steak fajitas. I don't even think it was steak. We order fajitas all the time(first time from here). It’s typically our go to food item. The steak didn’t even taste like steak. For $20 I expected more. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Total fail this time. First visit was great but our food was so awful we couldn't even eat it. We said no tomatoe sauce and they were just swimming in it. There was nothing inside but a ton of rice and speckles of meat. No cheese, lettuce, sour cream as the description stated there would be. Won't go back!

I’ve been coming here since it first open and it is one of my favorite taco place BUT MARIAM is the worst part of coming here! She is very rude and has the worst attitude and customer service. She unwelcoming and short. For example when reaching for my order she drops it on the counter and rolls her eyes, when questioned the count amount of tacos on my order she mocks me counting stuck her finger in my food. She not polite just has a negative demeanor. If this type of behavior continues I’ll have to consider finding a new taco place. Wish sucks cause, I come here at least 5 times a month.

First time eating here and it was wonderful. I had the quesadilla plate with chorizo and finished the entire meal. The complimentary chips and salsa were really tasty as well. The staff was kind and friendly. I'll be back!

Very good food, went on my lunch break, fresh and hot.

Simple, authentic Mexican food done well. Every dish captures the essence of traditional flavors without unnecessary frills. The ingredients are fresh, the seasoning is decent, and the overall experience feels both comforting and genuine.

I ordered 3 tacos and they were all just wrapped up in one piece of tin foil and smashed together completely saturated in Greece. Salsa had very little spice and was pink in color. Made with unripe tomatoes.

Our go to place for taco Tuesday! Some of the best tacos I've ever had. The flavors are incredible. The staff is super friendly and you can't beat the prices. Dine in for free chips and salsa.

Love this location! They make you feel very welcomed when walking in and the food is great. Taco Tuesday and Saturdays are my favorite days to go eat there. They have the best green enchiladas special on Saturdays! 😋

This not the place to go if you’re looking for good tacos! Sadly the quality has gone down. No flavor in the meats and the salsas aren’t even spicy and very very watery!
Ordered 3 different types of tacos and 1 of them the meat tasted as it had gone bad.
Only thing that I was able to enjoy was the mandarin jarito.
Will not be coming back. Hopefully they take their customers feedback and improve in the areas that need improvement!

The service was awesome, very speedy and the waitress was kind and attentive, also multilingual. The place was decorated very cute and was clean. Also great music playing too, I was vibing. The food was not good at all, I couldn't even eat the side of charro beans I had and struggled to finish the rest of my food aswell, I only did because I paid for it and didn't want the money and food to go to waste. Please don't change the recipes so much, Ive never been to a tacos el cuando like this. I know this is in kentwood and you are trying to cater to a demographic but there is no way salsa should be bitter, flavorless and not spicy and the whole plate is lacking salt and flavor. Please fix this, I really want to come here again.

I suggest you head on down to MEGA TACOS 36th and clyde park and get what you pay for this place is just food thrown together and no flavor over priced for the portions u are receiving try mega tacos for what u spend at this place spend there and notice the difference not just in price but experience and food flavor portion etc
