Love this location! They make you feel very welcomed when walking in and the food is great. Taco Tuesday and Saturdays are my favorite days to go eat there. They have the best green enchiladas special on Saturdays! 😋

This not the place to go if you’re looking for good tacos! Sadly the quality has gone down. No flavor in the meats and the salsas aren’t even spicy and very very watery!
Ordered 3 different types of tacos and 1 of them the meat tasted as it had gone bad.
Only thing that I was able to enjoy was the mandarin jarito.
Will not be coming back. Hopefully they take their customers feedback and improve in the areas that need improvement!

The service was awesome, very speedy and the waitress was kind and attentive, also multilingual. The place was decorated very cute and was clean. Also great music playing too, I was vibing. The food was not good at all, I couldn't even eat the side of charro beans I had and struggled to finish the rest of my food aswell, I only did because I paid for it and didn't want the money and food to go to waste. Please don't change the recipes so much, Ive never been to a tacos el cuando like this. I know this is in kentwood and you are trying to cater to a demographic but there is no way salsa should be bitter, flavorless and not spicy and the whole plate is lacking salt and flavor. Please fix this, I really want to come here again.

I suggest you head on down to MEGA TACOS 36th and clyde park and get what you pay for this place is just food thrown together and no flavor over priced for the portions u are receiving try mega tacos for what u spend at this place spend there and notice the difference not just in price but experience and food flavor portion etc

Editing My review from this one..My daughter and I went for the first time and we were very pleased with the food. She ordered the taco dinner plate and I ordered the chicken flautas special. She got 2 very generous proportioned tacos with a side of rice and beans. I got 3 chicken flautas and rice and beans with a cheese sauce. The flautas were crispy but the chicken inside remained juicy and flavorful! The server was very kind and very attentive. The prices were very reasonable. The store was very quaint and at the same time had a festive feel to it. Will definitely be going back soon! **Went back tonight and the food was so bland! The taco salad had no flavor. The shell it was in tasted like old grease was used. The beef soup my daughter got had no seasoning. After adding a lot of salt it was edible. The waitress took our order and never came back to see if things were good or is if we needed a refill on our drinks. Not going back any time soon

Excellent affordable lunch! I stopped in on a Tuesday thinking I’d try the tacos, but ended up having the quesadilla plate - one with pastor, one with steak. Food was delicious with quick friendly service. Will definitely be back for more!

Staff seemed very new, like they had no training too. Server asked us what we wanted right after setting the menu down, and didn't give us straws. Food was good, and fair prices.

Picked up a quesadilla lunch and joined my family who had picked Mexican dishes from Chipotle and Qdoba and found out I was the only 1 of the 6 disappointed when their special onions weren’t included. I called the Kentwood store to find out what happened and they told me - oh, sorry we are out of onions. With stocking and service like that I won’t be in a rush to return.

I’m rectifying and editing my review at this location This location is on Kalamazoo in the clockwise plaza near family fare after Speaking to the owner Daniel I ordered 3 steak tacos with chips and guacamole my husband picked my food up and when brought home the guacamole was enough to give your 1 year old so they put some salsa in the bag and told my husband they didn’t have a enough guacamole and charged my husband $11.10 when initially the order was $15 and change so I was cool with that after my husband told what he paid no problem no issue until I open the salsa and there was white mold in the salsa and it smelled also the limes where soft and old like with a Tan color and they smelled so I called to speak to owner got a women who I explain the issue she offered to fix my food but after seeing mold I declined I’m not eating spoiled food she then acted like she didn't believe me so I offered to send photos she then argued with me saying the limes were fresh and cut today I eat limes all the time I can tell you honey these limes was not fresh they were old and had spots on them so because I felt she was rude about it I declined and she hung up on me apparently the owner found out about it and reached out I really appreciate that he showed he cared about his customers and his business he was willing to fix the issue and offered my money back and replaced the order he was very genuine and kind and that’s all a customer wants is to acknowledge there was a problem and fix it. And that’s what the owner did and I’m grateful so thank you Daniel for reaching out and helping me out I will be back

Place was closed at peak lunch hour. We got there at 12:15 or something and they had a sign on the door saying they would be back in an hour. Great food, but I think they expanded too suddenly and are now dealing with a lot of growing pains.

The food was bland. Did not have any authentic flavors. I ordered an enchilada meal, and it was not tasty at all. The rice was bland, and the refried beans tasted funny. I am mexican, and this was not the best Mexican food at all. It was my first time and maybe my last time eating here.
