Absolutely amazing food!!
OMG! I tried about 6 taco trucks scoping things out for my 50th Fiesta birthday party.. When I landed Taco el cunado Plainfield my search came to a end.... Jelisha (sp) was amazing to work with she was always accommodating patient and prompt with all my questions. That was just the planning part. Then comes the day of the event and how amazing the food was and let alone the service. my family and friends said the food was AMAZING along with the great Service.. Tacos El Cunado Plainfield has food that is excellent and super fast. The tacos are very tasty and the green and red salsas are very good. The horchata is excellent and the Quesabirria Trio is a special that has no flavor. Portion is nice size and at a reasonable price. Service is good and the cashier is very nice, although there are no utensils with takeout. The restaurant is tucked away in a strip mall that you hardly know is there, but it is a great little place served hot if you are in the area. The beans can be stale and over‑blended, the guacamole has huge chunks of tomato and no salt, and the chips are very oily. The chicken taco can be dry or very moist if the time, and rice can be iffy. Value is great and the food is authentic Mexican, but there is to improve.
