Tacos El Cuñado Plainfield

Typical American style Mexican restaurant. Food was better than most. Server was very pleasant and friendly.

Sadly this location is not like Alpine but has great service. Had a chicken tamale and steak taco. The masa was bland in the tamale and it had no flavor at all.

Put in a curbside order, they didnt bring it out to me, I go in and get it ten minutes later giving the benefit of the doubt cause it was kinda busy. It just sitting on the counter. I had to stop somewhere else for food for someone else so it being cold was my fault. Got home and it’s all jumbled in the box steak in the rice, rice in the steak etc.(it sat still in my car) I called because 1. It was all messed up 2. I had to go in and get my order 10 minutes after they were suppose to bring it to me. So it sat there from the time it was done which who knows when to the time I decided they weren’t gonna bring it out. I call their first issue was the fact that my order was 30 minutes ago I told him yeah my issue isn’t that it’s cold. It’s that 1. I had to get my order 10 minutes after you guys were supposed to bring it out to me and two It’s all messed up in the box. They tell me well they don’t do curbside pick up. You have to go in and get it and I said then why does it let me put the information in on your website? It tells me to give you guys the color of my car and the type of car. They said oh well yeah we don’t know why it does that. OKAY so take it off then or write that u have to come in. Not worth going back to… disappointing.

Absolutely amazing food!!

My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place. We have gone a few times in the past month and are impressed with the quality of food each time we eat here. The only complaint I have is sometimes we are given ground beef when we ask for steak, but I am sure it is because they are out of steak and try to substitute it, we do not completely mind because all of their food is so flavorful. We recommend it!

dining in is awesome, delivery is where i don't agree, i would give a 1 to delivery - they always forget something. Will no longer order for delivery from this location.

Sorry. I wasn't a fan of their food. I ordered a tamale combo. The tamales were mushy. The amount of meat in them was small. The beans did not have any flavor or texture. The rice was overcooked, no vegetables in it and no flavor either. My impression of the food was very far from authentic. Disappointed.

Amazing Mexican food at reasonable prices. Server was polite and professional. Very short wait times. Free chips and salsa included with purchase. The chimichanga is my favorite.

The food quality is absolutely disgusting.
I ordered take out nachos with steak. My nachos had no steak at all. No salsa. What kind of restaurant is this?
The nacho chips had this little white hairs.
