We went to the Grand Rapids location and we're very happy with the service. Gabby was a delightful waitress and when we go back we will be requesting her table. She made the experience so enjoyable. We likened the experience to Fogo de Chao but it was so much better because the food was hot and the staff were so helpful. If you want some fine dining with excellent service, I recommend this to anybody!
For some reason our server was visiting their 4 tables around ours but we had to get up and find someone to ask for water and for rolls. We had plates of meat and nothing to drink. The manhattan was subpar. Several of the meat bringers just skipped by our table when the green side of the coaster was on display.

Texas de Brazil is a popular Brazilian steakhouse that offers a unique dining experience. The restaurant is known for its impressive salad bar, featuring a wide selection of fresh ingredients, and its exceptional variety of grilled meats served tableside by attentive servers.
While the food is generally praised, with the salad bar and the quality of the meat being particular highlights, the dining experience can be somewhat mixed. Some reviewers note that the restaurant can get quite busy and crowded, even with a reservation, leading to long wait times and a noisy atmosphere. The service is also described as hit-or-miss, with some servers being more attentive and accommodating than others.
The menu is extensive, with a focus on a variety of grilled meats, including filet mignon, pork ribs, and the signature picanha. However, the quality of the side dishes is reported to be inconsistent, and the desserts, such as the Brazilian cheesecake, have been described as disappointing.
Overall, Texas de Brazil offers a unique and enjoyable dining experience, especially for those with a hearty appetite and a love for high-quality grilled meats. While the cost of the meal can be on the higher side, many reviewers feel that the experience is worth the price tag, provided the expectations are set accordingly.
