They made everything so simple and easy to manage for a very anxious bride.The venue is gorgeous, the rooftop lounge is such a nice extra for bridal party to hang out in, and every single staff member was seriously so fun and great to work with. 10/10 would recommend to anyone considering holding any event here!

Recently, had the privilege of performing a wedding ceremony at this venue. Not only is this ballroom stunning, with a historic charm...the venue staff were so tentative to the needs of the couple & their guests. Ashley (event coordinator), you were so sweet & calm. You were so in-tune with very detail for our couple. Special thank you to Zach! Zach was the sound technician for the ballroom, and so much more...overall very helpful! Thank you for both! We booked the venue in a hurry in October and throughout the whole process, Ashley and Chandell were so helpful and accommodating for the short notices and other requests for Korean guests. The actual wedding day was as smooth as can be and I had such a wonderful day. The venue itself was gorgeous and the beautiful chandeliers and the lighting was all perfect. I cannot even describe how gorgeous the venue is and how every little detail is so beautiful and elevated with the lighting options and color choices! The staff was incredible to work with. They made every bit of my dream come true and helped cater to all my wishes and needs. The whole planning process was quite easy and filled with no nonsense, I couldn’t be happier with how everything came together and worked out! I highly recommend the Mckay Ballroom to anyone wanting an elegant and stunning venue that people will never forget! It gives such a feeling of fanciness and glamour that makes you almost feel like royalty or at least as close as you can get in west Michigan. The ballroom really is something to behold! Also the bridal suite and rooftop room were so convenient and cool looking, just an additional element of wonder and ease. Overall a spectacular venue and wonderful staff! 11/10 would recommend

An amazing venue. My cousin had his wedding reception here and it was a beautiful atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Having a parking garage right across the street also made it very easy for all guests to come and go.
