You are very defensive and coming off as very condescending. Horrible experience. I felt so unwelcome. I placed an online order and waited the 30 minutes they said. Once I got there I was told my food was coming up. THREE couples walked in after me and all placed orders/got served before my friend and I. One common denominator. When we finally got our food 40 minutes after arriving, it was ice cold and so gross. I have been so excited about patronizing your business. You talk about being about community and stuff, but maybe only certain people in the community? I dunno 🤷🏼♀️ only time you got friendly was when you realized I was heavily tattooed? Weird energy.

Run far away from here! Unless you live having your order cold or missing— this is the place for you. Customer service will blame their mistakes for being a small business… if you’re a small business. Pay attention to the customers who come frequent. Yall lost a customer. Horrible service.

The building is quite cozy and well kept. Our server was very friendly. The total cost for our meal was very reasonable. Everything was excellent. The smothered pork chop was very tender. I would definitely go back.

This place is such a fun and cool experience! When I think of a southern soul food restaurant, the first thing all good ones have is an owner who greets you like family. Yvette is exactly that! She welcomed to home and her enthusiasm for what she does was shone through in every detailed description of her menu. Which brings me to the second thing that all good soul food places obviously must have, a great menu. This menu has all the classics you’ll find in the Deep South! Meatloaf, fried chicken, pork chops, catfish (just to name a few) and all the sides! Then greens and cornbread dressing were out of this world! And the 5 and Ten Dollar lunch specials make this place one of the best value buys you can find. Highly recommend for anybody, because it’s the kind of place anybody can enjoy. And you can spend 10 or fifty dollars and you’ll be full and satisfied.
