If I could leave a lower review I would. I went in tonight after paying way in advance and after waiting 1/2 hr I asked if I could get a refund. She started getting super loud and showing her true colors. I walked out and would advise even if homeless and starving that you go somewhere else. She must of had a horrible day and took it out on the wrong person. She was the older one working up front eating food while working. I hope if the have management this finds them and she is handled. Will never go back

We had the farewell brunch after our wedding at The Candied Yam, and they could have not done a better job! Excellent food, excellent service, and a very reasonable price. Would 100% recommend.

They decided not to serve meatloaf today. Tried the fried chicken, OVERLY seasoned and over cooked. Didn't offer white meat. Only had thigh, wing and leg options. Asked for thigh and leg, got thigh and wing. My go-to sides here are mac and yams. Mac was very disappointing today, watery almost mush, pasta itself were soggy, not much cheese flavor. I regular this place often, usually the food hits the spot but not sure what happened this time. Girl at the counter was new, never seen her before. Pleasant but service was shortcoming. Menu prices have increased, wouldn't have minded it if the food I ordered was good. Only thing good were the yams. I will return again solely because I've had great meals here in the past..but today was NOT it. Also, dined in, the dining area lights were not on even though I came in 15 mins after opening hours and the ac was not on. It was 85 degrees today so 😒

We ordered from an app to try something new. The whole point of why we use the app is to find new favorite places. What we received? Not one single item on their actual menu. I'm sorry but it is just very disappointing. We would have returned had we actually received something from the menu at all. A sandwich. Baggy of chips. A package of gum. A cup of soup and even that wasn't on the menu 😔. My husband and I were trying to get two meals to share with our two daughters, and we still had to go get them McDonald's to make up for being hungry still.

I’ve tried your restaurant in the past and the food was good but based off how you are responding to the comments I may not patronize your business again. You are very defensive and coming off as very condescending. You’re reading these reviews to respond and not to try to better your establishments and get an understanding of what your customers are really trying to express to you.
