This place has excellent service and down home cooking. The Soulfood wrap with extra yams is top notch, so much flavor. The meatloaf tastes like your mom made it, tender and saucy. I like it and the pork chop smothered in gravy, but you can get it without. The collards are exceptional. The corn bread is soft with a slight crust and just a little sweet. And the banana pudding is so luxurious and just the right amount of sweetness.

Food is phenomenal if you’re willing to wait over an hour. Service is great, I understand they’re short staffed. Could’ve given us a heads up that we would have to wait that long. Will not be coming back unless I have time on my hands to wait. Food came out for the rest of my party, still didn’t get mine until they were all finished eating theirs. Definitely not providing this rating based on the food quality or staff, just the wait time

Food slimey and wasn’t done if you plan on eating here don’t just stay home and cook store bought Mac n cheese tasting
I had the opportunity to meet Jessica-Ann (owner) when my parents were closing their catering business a few years back- right off the bat I made a mental note that I had to get over here to try the food- between her warm demeanor and contagiously bubbly personality… I knew the food would be good. Unfortunately, life happened and I was delayed but I’m so glad I finally made it over here.
The storefront was very clean and well put together. The menu is straight forward and easy to understand with very fair prices. The young woman working the counter was extremely friendly and efficient. I ordered meatloaf, fried chicken, greens, Mac and cheese, and the banana pudding as well as a lemonade. All of it was fantastic. The greens were perfectly flavored, the Mac and cheese was rich and gooey, the meatloaf felt like a home cooked meatloaf, and the chicken was phenomenal. The banana pudding was decent- but I really wish I had gotten there before they ran out of peach cobbler because my friend got that and it was delectable!!! I will be back again and highly suggest everyone support this place!

Absolutely amazing southern food. As a person from Texas, I do recommend this place. Side note: corn bread is a bit too sweet for me, but that's alright.

Simply delicious! The fried chicken was outstanding and the peach cobbler was the best I've ever had. Served it at Thanksgiving to a group of 15 people and everybody was raving about it. The owner definitely takes great care in making sure her customers enjoy their experience. Will be ordering again!

Went with my wife last night and it was so freakin good! We both had the two meats and two sides. I had meatloaf and jumbo wing with collared greens and mac and cheese.
If you’ve had real, homemade soul food before, this is exactly that. Made with love. The cornbread was a surprise highlight. It had a hint nutmeg (I think?) that made it delish. I had a bite of my wife’s peach cobbler and it had the same special touch.
Tl;dr - If you love homemade soul food, then you’ll love this; it’s made with love 🩷
Tried this place after doing a dash for it and was very pleased. The food is good and hot. Reminded me of a meal from back home. Will be a new go to for me.

This was so good. We liked every item we tried. The staff were transparent with wait times. My favorite was the rib and the candied yams, which says a lot about them, I normally do not enjoy my yams sweetened, but these were amazing! 100% will be back!

THE FOOD WAS cold the chicken way burnt, the mac n cheese old from Like days ago, corn bread dry, mashed potatoes no flavor I order a water she grab it from the sink when she was using the cash register didn't bother washing her hands.
