When another company informed me last minute that they were unable to fulfill my 50-person charcuterie board order, I immediately called The Cheese Lady. At 4:30PM the day before, their team happily took my last-minute order for a lunch event. Not only did they save the day, but both their presentation and product quality were VERY well received by all of my event attendees.
10/10 experience. Can't wait to order from The Cheese Lady for future events!

Within Grand Rapids, The Cheese Lady is the closest to gourmet vegan cheese to be found. They usually have multiple options of vegan cheeses with varying style, flavors, and textures. It is not the widest selection of vegan cheeses I have seen at a fromagerie, but I am very thankful for the vegan options they have. Depending on availability, they usually have 3 to 5 cheese options.
Speaking with the cashier, she shared that the vegan cheeses are regionally crafted within Michigan, but not in-house. Regardless, the vegan options are rotating and fresh because of them being locally sourced. It is nice to see new options when I visit, and it is nice that they allow sampling of all the flavors. I recommend the pepperjack if they have it when you visit.

Stopped in to get a gift package. The lady put one together. Also bought some chocolates. Great place, nice staff and wonderful products.
You can’t not love this place. The staff, the samples, the smells, tastes, sights. Words don’t do it justice, just go.
Very nice workers! Amazing selection of cheeses even for those that can't do dairy. Lots of sheep, goat, and Buffalo milk cheese options!
