Our server Liz and Chef Tyler Farrow were extremely considerate about our Islamic dietary restrictions (halal/kosher) and served us options that met our religious needs. We are extremely thankful to them and loved our experience at the Chop House.
Jackson was great at his job & we had an enjoyable evening! Thank you!
The speed and knowledge of the wait staff was top of the line! My wife and I each had a BLT Salad and a French Onion soup before our 8oz filet mignon, all of which was made to perfection and tasted outstanding! We love that part of downtown GR so this place is a standout- highly recommend!
Everything we ordered was out of this world amazing! The prime rib was perfect, asparagus was delicious, and we loved the crème brûlée! The service was outstanding, and ambience very nice.
Always a great meal no matter what one you go to
After half a century, I finally tried beef wellington. I wasn't disappointed!
Clubby, traditional steakhouse with outstanding service. Food is excellent, ESPECIALLY the cheesy popovers.
I spent $400 for grainy mashed potatoes, mediocre filet mignon, ok Mac and cheese, ok salmon, dry lamb chops, and unseasoned bland asparagus.
I paid for me, my girlfriend, her mom and sister. My girlfriend got sick, and her mom got sick within a few hours. It was my girlfriends birthday so it is what it is but man, what a waste of money....... not worth it at all. Go to Ruth's Chris.
Best steaks in Grand Rapids. We had a great event too
This restaurant came recommend to me as the best steakhouse in Grand Rapids. I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly (Kathryn) and answered all my questions. The atmosphere is perfect for a fancy date. Very romantic setting to impress. I don't drink alcohol and they had an alcohol free 0% Giasen Merlot which was exquisite. I started with French Onion Soup and Cheese Popover Muffins. For an entree, I had Australian Rib Lamb Chops with a Mint Demi Glase. For a side, I enjoyed Brussels Sprouts with Honey Dijon Mustard Sause. Everything exceeded my expectations and the Merlot paired nicely with the Lamb Chops. I highly recommend the Chop House as a must visit dining destination in the heart of Grand Rapids.

Exceptional service and atmosphere! We visited for our 25th wedding anniversary dinner. Filet mignon, lamb chops, wine, beer, and topped it all off with dessert. Everything tasted amazing!!

Very bougue and overrated. It is a great experience that everyone should enjoy at least once in a lifetime. I came for my anniversary, and the bill was outrageous and nothing special for my day did I receive.
