Had a wonderful time at The Holiday Bar, enjoying a drink and the atmosphere! Would definitely go back! The food looked good, so we look forward to trying some of their grub next time!

We have normally loved coming to holiday bar in the past but unfortunately this time around a server took my credit card home with him and the handling of the situation at the establishment was APPALLING. I was treated as though the entire incident was my fault when in reality, their employee left the restaurant with my credit card. I had to ask for the manager 3 separate times before being able to speak with him about the fact that my card was missing as he was “busy running food” because apparently that took priority. Overall the handling of the situation was a joke. My group of 7 spent hundreds of dollars on our tabs and I was offered a $10 gift card as consolation after having to ask for an update on what was happening multiple times. We waited over 30 minutes to even receive an update from management as to what was going on after being questioned multiple times if I was sure I wasn’t the one responsible for losing it. I gave the gift card away to the table next to me and will never be back after the lack of professionalism. I completely understand that accidents happen and do not fault the server at all for making an innocent mistake but it was the handling of the situation that was atrocious.

Holidays are hard if they hit capacity before you arrive. Go early. Miss the days where there were reservations available but post-covid...adjust positively right?! Plan ahead.Parking: Again, they pack it in. Everyone loves THB. Ditto, me too!! Go early. If you go during bar hour, plan to be patient looking for a parking spot.

Had heard so many great things about this bar, and we finally got to go a few times now, and this by far is one of our instant favorite places!Staff is great, atmosphere is so inviting and fun, and the room itself is sectioned off into different zones so you can pretty much please so many kinds of people and get whatever vibe you want depending on where you sit!Plus my personal favorite is they almost always have a DJ playing all the great early 2000’s hits and it gets the whole place going every time!Also a giant perk is it’s on the outskirts of GR so you avoid the downtown crowds, and it has its own parking lot, so MUCH nicer than most places for ease and convince!10/10 highly recommend!!

Beware, security here is obnoxious. It was my second time at this bar, I was completely sober and accidentally walked behind a roped off area near the dance floor. I was there for one second before I squatted down to go back under the rope but before I could do that, an old tall bald man with a beard ~dyed red~ told me I need to "get the fuck out of here." I apologized for walking in the wrong area and he became angrier that I was asking why I had to leave. I talked to the manager who "had to side with security." What a joke. Obviously the bouncer was on a power trip and made it his mission to kick people out tonight. I will not be returning to this bar. Get it together.

the guy instantly racially profiled and told me I couldn't come in cause I had patches on my jeans which were south pole I came back in a suit to spite the dude and he tried saying my shoes Wich were Stacy Adams not like it was a sneaker the guy says we don't want you're kind in the bar my friend who was white who knew they guy had to tell him he knew me to get me in racist bar racist bouncers avoid the the plague

Lost my jacket there went back a week later and saw a bartender have it on, lmao my name was writing in sharply on the tag, this place is hilarious! None the less fantastic karaoke and cheap drinks, the dj’s awesome aswell!! ?

The new menu items are a complete miss. The steakhouse burger was hard as a hockey puck and lacked flavor. And I don't know if tonight this was their C team but it took a good hour to get a burger and beer. Only thing they had going for them was the live music wasn't bad.
Above average bar food. Drinks are a bit pricy and service is very hit or miss. The main floor manager is extremely nice and when the weather is right, the patio is a must.

We just fell in love with this little gem! They had a great happy hour, live music, and great staff. We loved the Christmas aspect and the ambiance of the bar area. This would be somewhere we would love to go back to take advantage of their happy hour and good deals. Everyone was friendly and the food was decent too. We are always looking for new places to try in Grand Rapids and I am glad that we found this spot!
