The Mitten Brewing Company

This place was pretty good. The beer was good of course and the food was fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere was pretty neat as well.

I forgot what kind of beer that each of us ordered but it definitely hit the spot.

As for food, we ordered the cheese bread and pizza. As before mentioned, it tasted very fresh and homemade. You can tell that they put a lot of effort into their quality control. Everything was hot and flavorful when it came out. The cheese on the bread almost snapped in your mouth when you bit into it.

The atmosphere was very chill as well. Inside, there is Detroit sports memorabilia on the walls and various beer items. We sat outside where there was music and corn hole. I found the landscaping to be pretty nice also.

The service was friendly but our waitress was not that attentive. That was probably the only negative part of my visit.

Overall, good food and good vibes. And of course, good beer!

Service, drinks, and food are all excellent. Almost any pizza can be made gluten free. Jordan was our server and made the evening a great experience

We had a carnivore, a vegan and a gluten-free necessity all at one table and all got what they needed and it was wonderful. Thank you Bryce!

The food was delicious, definitely would recommend. However, we had a party of six and ordered two pizza flights. Our waiter, who was also working behind the bar at that time, asked us if we wanted to split our bill six ways. We said sure, and he said "alright that makes it easy." Turns out it was not easy. We didn't mind waiting for as long as it took but we were right next to the bar and he was complaining about us to the people sitting at the bar, even though he suggested the six way split. He then acted not so friendly with us afterwards because of this. I don't remember his name, but he had long hair put in to a ponytail. If it wasn't for that interaction, my rating would be higher.

Hard review to write because the kitchen seems awesome. Very good food. Service and FOH in general... oof. Not friendly.

In response to owner: Sure, I'm a driver for UberEATS and when I walked in, there was no upfront where a host would normally be. When I finally found someone and asked where to go, she snapped at me and told me to go upfront. I explained I just came from upfront looking for someone, her exact words "well then I don't know, but that's where you're supposed to go." I looked for someone else and just about the same thing happened. It took quite some time finding someone to actually help me pick up the customer's order. This isn't the first time this has happened either.

Pizza is not good. Dough is raw.

Excellent pizza - the crust is amazing. It’s a fun place for family, tolerant of young kids. You can choose 6 pizzas for the flight!

Was in Grand Rapids and stopped in to try their pizza flight. Best pizza i have ever had in my 55 years of existence! So jealous of people that live close to it.

Love the pizza flight and reasonably priced. Sangria and mango sour was very good. Always go to Mitten when we visit Grand Rapids.

We loved it! Enjoyed pickle bread sticks and pizza. So gourmet. Strawberry cider was delicious too. And bought 3 shirts. Celebrated my uncles bday.

Great service. The pizza was excellent. They have a great variety of traditional and more creative options. Love that they offer a pizza flight so you can try so many different flavors.

I Was driving down the highway and a delivery driver cut me off and proceeded to flip me off. Was also swerving at other cars including a veteran owned small Business owner. I hope she gets disciplined for this. Severely uncalled for that’s not how we treat our veterans. Shame on you lady

Best pizza in town and some of the best beer in town, and that's saying something! What else could you ask for??

Highly recommend the Phil Sticks and doing a pizza flight, can't go wrong with any of the beer or food though.

Best place to park is cady corner behind Two Scott's BBQ and the Comedy Project.
