The Omelette Shoppe

Found this place on a trip thru grand rapids. Friendly service no wait to sit. omelets were good but mostly cheese with a little toppings around the edges not the way I would expect a place called the omelette shop to present there food. Was only a 3$ charge to get the blueberry pan cakes added as a side. There was way to much blueberry not enough of the lemon ricotta sauce. The strawberry orange juice was a pleasant twist on a morning beverage only this was way to much pulpe.

My husband and I come here whenever we are in the area. We fell in love with the Hazelnut coffee, even bought some to bring home and have on the weekends and now we can't find a replacement for it since the flavors change. 😭 Who is your coffee supplier, can we go to the source?

This was my first time coming to the omelette shoppe. Melissa was very kind and helpful. It was a joy to have her as are waitress. I will come back again because of how good her service was.

I ordered a turkey sandwich the lady was really short with me I was initially told 30 minutes and when I came she I was told 30 more minutes just to ask about my order to be told my sandwich was never started meanwhile other people got their orders I waited 1 and a half hour for nothing I feel like the staff was being very racist especially the manager with the green hair I ended up never getting my food and it was a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience

The food here is amazing so I wish I could give this place a higher review but the service is lacking. I was getting my oil done at belle tire and ordered Uber Eats. Not one pack of ketchup or silverware was added. So I’m in the middle of belle tire eating with my hands and of course it’s eggs Benedict’s haha. So I’m not sure if the team just doesn’t take pride in their work or the manager is lacking the skills in training their staff appropriately for their roles. Anyways… maybe take some time to provide consistent accurate service across the board and double check your to go orders. Before you respond asking me to email you and you’re sorry for my experience and whatever kind words you feel the need to share. No email necessary, just train your staff and encourage guest care better. That’s all.

Food was very good, and my server was excellent.

We highly recommend the this spot! We had an amazing meal and service by Mikayla today! Someone in our party has a severe allergy and Mikayla and the team took special care to ensure we had a delightful and safe experience. We enjoyed two of the skillets, the fresh fruit and the cherry bread was delicious. The corned beef was delicious as well. They make almost everything from scratch and use the best ingredients.

Jamie at the Michigan Ave location was amazing. We were there after a Drs appointment and she was beyond kind and compassionate!! We will go back to see her. Thank you Jamie!!!

Ordered a few items for delivery for breakfast at the Omellette Shop over the weekend.

Was very disappointed with the state of the asparagus in my omellette. I couldn't chew through 75% of the vegetable. I ended up needing to dig out all the asparagus from my meal. If the omellette without meat is going to cost $17 there better be some properly cooked vegetables in there.

Ordered the 12 pack of cinnamon rolls and they gave us enough glaze for maybe 7-8.

Well my boyfriend had a $25.00 omelette that was the most amazing omelette he had ever eaten at this restaurant! We are still laughing about it! He order the Create your own omelette for $13, but every item added was up charged! But it was sooo good he didn’t care!
My breakfast of poached eggs, sides and pancakes was superb too! Coffee flows like a fountain here too! YAY
The wait staff was amazing too! We won’t hesitate to visit this location again!

Excellent, fresh ingredients. Fruit bowl was fresh and very tasteful.
