My husband and I came here for my 28th birthday and had such an amazing experience! Our waiter was very kind, the food was outstanding, and the atmosphere was amazing. We had calamari as our starter and I had the mushroom ravioli and my husband had the steak and we loved all of it! For dessert we ordered a s’mores dessert and were pleasantly surprised! I heard they have a speak easy type of lounge downstairs which is unfortunately closed on Mondays which was the day we went. But I’ll definitely be going back go see it!

Liam our server was great, super helpful and friendly. Shrimp allá vodka was nasty, didn’t have any flavor, truffle potatoes were disgusting. Not to mentioned their drinks were bad. So disappointed it was our wedding anniversary dinner, everything was going bad. Expensive for nasty food.

My sister recommended this restaurant to me. Such a fun place- with great food and drinks in the GR area! We had an early dinner right when they opened for the day, and it was great! I’m sure it’s even more fun towards the evening. We had some drinks, Chicken Piccata, filet mignon, and then the Lemon cake and chocolate lava cake for dessert. I’m not a huge fan of mashed potatoes, but these were really good! Great service and a really neat building!

The stuffed Lobster was WAY too salty to eat and I love salt. No one would've been able to eat it. No one ever asked and we never saw the waiter until we were done eating despite us clearly only taking one bite. When they were boxing our leftovers was when we finally got a chance to say something and they just took the dish away and only gave us half off that one meal which we didn't eat nor did they give us the leftovers despite us spending over $200 on dinner for only 2 people even after they discounted the meal we didn't eat. The mocktails cost as much as alcoholic drinks. It was a nice atmosphere and the steak was cooked perfectly but it too was extremely salty but I like salt so I ate that but I don't think many people would. It was my first time here but I don't think we'll be back.

I have now dined at all of the top end restaurants in Grand Rapids, and find Mangiamo's to be the best overall experience of food, atmosphere and price of the lot.
It is such a rare find to find a restaurant that hits on all cylinders of vibe, service and food and Mangiamo for sure gets five stars in all categories. Not only is it a beautiful space, but every server is knowledgeable, friendly and exudes a high level of service. The food is phenomenal and worth every penny that you pay for it

First time we've been to Mangiamo since their most recent renovation. My wife and I came here for a quiet Mother's Day celebration, and Mangiamo didn't disappoint! From the Grandioso Old Fashioned to the PEI Mussels with white wine sauce, and the shared Lasagna Bolognese and Knife and Fork Caesar salad paired with our favorite wines, what started as a quiet dining experience became one of our most memorable meals in recent history. The room was so beautiful—we had forgotten how lovely Paddock Place was. We will coming back again soon!

We made dinner reservations online and got the time we needed, then had to reschedule and they were able to accommodate. We've been here several times and have always had a great experience. My sister hosted my baby shower here back in October 2024, and we returned this time to celebrate our Birthday. Our server Ian was very kind and attentive. He gave great drink, appetizer, and entrée recommendations. He even brought a bowl of mixed fruit for the baby at the table, which was very thoughtful. Thank you for a lovely evening, we will definitely be back.
