After writing the below negative review I was contacted by the owner who wanted to make things right. I greatly appreciated their professional response and realize that two young staff members who create a bad experience one time should not have a negative business impact.

At 10:19 we joined the online waitlist, were told the wait was 15 minutes, and drove five miles to the restaurant.

We arrived about 10:28 and checked in with a couple young ladies at the front who could not have possibly shown less interest even if they had acting classes. We asked if the online texts we were receiving were accurate and they could barely answer. Their apathy was academy award level.

At 10:30 we got another message saying our wait time had increased another 20 minutes. Mind you the 1st message we got said only 2 parties were ahead of us and we were only a party of 2.

So...we left.

5 minutes later we get a message saying the table is ready.

It was the two girls at the front that resulted in our 1 star review.

I thought they were accommodating for our walk in table of six, service was good, plenty of coffee & water. Food come quickly, my biscuits & gravy was chipped beef and that may be the norm in MI from IN. But was very good as was my wife's avocado bacon BLT, both styles of potato's cooked properly. Prices fair in this current world, would visit again!

Food is good. A little on the pricey side and they charge a 3% surcharge above menu prices regardless of paying with cash or card.

It's one of my favorite places for breakfast. The service was very good and quick with the food order out the table. The price point is fair. Totally understand the reason for the add surcharge. This will always be one of my go-to places to bring out of town visitors .

Great food at great prices. Small buildings don't accommodate the number of people coming and going. Felt crowded and was loud.
