The cocktails were great—tasty and generous with the alcohol! It's rare to find good, strong drinks at an affordable price.
The food was also good.
I’d recommend coming here for the drinks, definitely try the fries, and go ahead and order food—but avoid adding extras to your dishes!
We got a salad that was $9, and adding chicken cost another $7. At that point, you might as well just order two separate dishes instead :)

The Rez is not only our fave neighborhood bar, but our #1 recommendation throughout GR. One of the best manhattans I’ve ever had. All the cocktails were fantastic but our bartender knew what he was doing. We tried many employee creations from the menu.

Former patron (moved out of state) and former employee. The food hooked me, the atmosphere got me to stay. Absolutely fantastic menu that captures the essence of Cajun flavor with a Midwestern twist. Always a great selection of draft beers from around the globe (with a special emphasis on highlighting Michigan brews). The staff is top notch. There are special events all the time and they have a great selection of bar games available.
Perfect 7/5, would recommend to anyone.

I’ve held two company events here and both were amazing!
Both the servers and the kitchen kept us happy!
They have a back room with pool, darts, ping pong and an great jut box.
The building reminds of an old speakeasy.
Chef’s jambalaya is really good!

I got the food on DoorDash and I forgot to write a review, but this food is AMAZING! Well seasoned care hot and packaged well! The Cajun Fritters are to die for! The Creole Alfredo is spicy in the best way and the Henhouse chicken is soooo juicy and seasoned to perfection! If you love rich chocolatey creamy cake get the Chocolate Toffee Mouse Cake! I cannot WAIT to go back to this restaurant. I’m sure everything will be amazing as well!

I tried the muffuletta sandwich here and was quite happy with it. Admittedly I’ve had better versions of sandwich before, but I was pleased with this one and it wasn’t too filling. It was packed with flavor. The menu has a lot of good sounding items that I’d like to try sometime, and I’m a sucker for Louisiana creole food. The interior was warm and inviting, and the staff was reasonably friendly. I was happy with my experience.
