“Ooo pig sooiee” Spicy sauce was yummy & our server Crystal was so good at taking care of our table for us! She was the best! We really appreciate her good service???We might go “insanely spicy” level next time since “spicy” wasn’t too spicy for us?
Hubby and I split the Monday-Thursday Special with and add on of 1/2lb snow crab, one corn, and one potato. We got the Woo Pig Sooiee spice, medium level. I have to believe the people complaining of bland food got theirs with no spice. It was full of flavor and so delicious! We will definitely be back, but next time we won't add the crab as we ended up with more food than we could eat. Would definitely recommend if you are in the mood for a seafood boil.
A fun, seafood-eating venue! Quiet atmosphere, friendly wait staff, clean, and tasty, savory food. Enjoyed some alligator ? bites and some jumbo shrimp ?, but the Argentinan shrimp was unavailable. Pricey, so be aware.
The food was short portioned, I paid $70 dollars for 1 crab leg, no way it was a pound. The chicken was something you could by from Gordon foods, nothing against Gordon foods and was cooked in old oil. The bathroom, not to get graphic, hadn't been clean in a long, long time...It was discussing. I will NEVER step foot in this place again. I'm sorry for our server, she was wonderful, I pray she finds a better place to work..
I order Dungenest crabs. Look how small these are , and they were not that good. This place has gone down tremendously but yet their prices continue to increase. When you go online the price online is much different than the price in the restaurant. Online the price is $28.99 but when I went to the restaurant to pick up my order I was charged $36.99. I wouldn’t recommend this place after eating this food my stomach started hurting it was not good it was overcooked and overpriced. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.
This review needs to be written because it is always empty in this restaurant and I don’t understand why. The food is FANTASTIC! You know it’s going to be good eating when there is paper covers on the table lol. I didn’t get our servers name but he was on it with drinks. There is no drinks on tap sadly because they are not busy enough so just get a bottle of beer or mixed drink and order the best Cajun style seafood you can get in Michigan! Please give this place a chance I promise you won’t be disappointed!
The food was not terrible but way overpriced. We were there at about 1pm so it was not busy when we were there. The bathroom was disgusting and if I would have went there before we ate I would not have ate there.
Staff was so nice and knowledgeable! Food was tasty and seasoned perfectly and portions were enough to share. The sauce that came with the shrimp was delicious and out of the normal cocktail sauce I am used to.I would love to give 5 starts but the entry door was a bit dirty with prints. We were the only lunch patrons so that should have been cleaned upon opening. We will definitely be back again!!!
My best friend and I went after attending a show at Devos Performance Hall. We had a wonderful time. Great service. Amazing food and strong cocktails! We truly enjoyed our experience and service and quality of the food. 10/10 would go again!
The atmosphere sucked, not what I was expecting at all. The food was ok, my daughter loved the seafood boil but the crab lacked meat. For the price of the food I would have expected to not be able to tell that the food was frozen/came from a box. I have been to similar spots like that and never did they smell like a fresh fish market nor could you tell that the food was frozen and from a box.We got a boil, fried fish basket and gator bites.

One star for the decorations. The food and atmosphere was horrible. Awkward!!! We walked in in the middle of lunchtime there were two other couples eating it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop and it was very cold. The food was below average and not worth the money. They could’ve bumped the heat up a little bit to make it comfortable and had a TV on or some music on so people felt like they could have a conversation without everyone in the restaurant hearing every word and every smack and bite of food.
Food was cooked perfectly and delicious. The staff was kind and prompt. Many reviewers are rating this place poorly due to prices but I disagree. Due to inflation the price of everything has gone up so I expect it to be reflected here as well.
Great food and service! I took my wife out for supper. She'd never had a boil before. Nautica was the best server I've had at a restaurant before. We will be back.
This is a newer business that took over a Mexican restaurant's prior digs.We ordered a fish and a shrimp basket. Although this is a large full service restaurant, our meals were served in paper bowls with a plastic fork with sauces in plastic capped cups. Yup, just like a food truck.Maybe, had we ordered the $70/lb king crab (you read that correctly), we would have received real dishes and flatware. We were the only people there and the waitress did not check in on us until almost the end of the meal.Food was bland and over-priced. Hope that they change up their game.
We tried this place for the first time this evening and unfortunately it will be our last time. The service was okay at best. The food was even worse. I had ordered a fried shrimp basket. It was the greasiest fried food that I have eaten. When I removed the breading from the shrimp it was tasteless. Prices, (in my opinion) are too expensive given the mediocre wait staff, poorly tasting food and being served in a paper basket with black, flimsy, plastic forks (that we had to ask for). Prices are $12 to $14 for dinner baskets and can be as much as $70 for a pound of King Crab. I was hoping to have a good experience and write a great review. Unfortunately, hope dissolved into disappointment.
