Smoothies and Açaí bowls were great but no coffee??? I don’t understand… how hard is it to have coffee machine and over charge me for black coffee? Other than that place was as expected

I ate at this tropical smoothies. They served me a rotted kale, an apple salad. I threw up immediately. I brought it back in. I barely got the eye contact or an apology. I was served a wrap, a Baja. Rap, that's tasted like the sauce had actually gone bad. I'm actually really hoping that I don't get food poisoning today. Because it was awful, I've never experienced this from a tropical smoothie before. But this place needs to be investigated because none of their food seems uh to be fresh at all. Terrible location , I get the same thing from every other Tropical in Michigan and they said they couldn’t add Nutella to my shake even though I have 100s of times …. Won’t be returning nor do I recommend. Go to one a few miles away and guarantee them to treat you like family unlike this location

I had an absolutely terrible experience at the Tropical Smoothie in South Kentwood. The customer service was abysmal. The staff were rude, inattentive, and seemed completely disinterested in helping customers. I had to wait an unreasonable amount of time just to place my order, and when I did, the employees were unfriendly and unprofessional. This place needs a serious overhaul in how they treat their customers. Not to mention my food was burnt and my smoothie was clumpy. I won't be coming back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone

I stop by nearly every morning, and am never disappointed. Chloe and Kei usually take an make my order (pomegranate plunge with the energizer add in). It's always a pleasant experience and the smoothie is always delicious.

While waiting to pick up a third party order I witnessed them "cleaning" the pictures for their smoothies. They literally just rinsed them with hot water and called it good. My question is what about those with allergies. I know many people with fruit allergies and this is definitely cross contamination.

This location is always clean. The service is always slow with a huge lack of customer service etiquette. They play extremely loud music. They never greet you. They walk up to the cash register to take your order without saying a word and just looking at you. Today I saw a perfect example of how poor leadership trickles down to the entire team. They're very unprofessional. Manager became upset with me because I questioned if they completed my order correctly. She yelled at me. I yelled at her. As a manager She should have been more interested in rectifying the problem or addressing the concern instead of going caring on me. The unfortunate thing is that this location is consistent with a lack of customer service etiquette. The the quality of the product is pretty much okay. However, I feel that the general manager or owner. However, these businesses are franchised needs to keep an eye on how they service customers.
