Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar is a charming spot in Downtown Grand Rapids, easily accessible with a nearby parking garage. The drink menu is fun and creative, and the food is excellent. The Ashville Hot fried chicken with Mac & Cheese waffles is a standout dish, along with the cast iron pork and smothered chicken thighs. The brussel sprouts appetizer is out of this world, and sides like Mac and cheese, onion rings, fried okra, and fried rosemary potatoes are fantastic. The wonderful ambiance and fantastic people make it a great choice for a fun night out. While service can sometimes take longer, the food arrives delicious with top-notch presentation. Some dishes, like the Shrimp & Grits, may come in a cold dish, but the flavors are still loved. Friendly servers like Em provide helpful hints, though the hostess could be more welcoming. With its great staff and delicious meals, this restaurant leaves a lasting impression.
