We were so excited there was a Tupelo Honey when we visited Grand Rapids - we have had great experiences in other cities and prioritized coming! However, this was a really disappointing experience — the food came out cold, part of our order never made it to the table, and the service was terrible. The host and waitresses were not attentive, constantly on their phones to the side of the restaurant, and seemed bothered with any request — like for syrup for waffles or to check on our order that didn't come out. This restaurant is beautiful, and the food would have been delicious at right temperature. We will continue to go back to Tupelo Honey restaurants as we have opportunity, but maybe not this one.

The food is excellent. The overall ambience of the restaurant is lovely. The noise level is very high and it makes it very difficult to have a conversation with the person sitting next to you without yelling.

Great service, pleasant atmosphere, and a convenient location. We loved the Sweet Potato Pancake with Bacon, Potatoes, and Desserts. We were very disappointed with the Chicken Tenders, they were very dry. Perhaps we had a bad batch because they didn't look like the tenders on their website. We would go again, and make different main meal choices.

We had such a great experience! The food was so good! Our server was wonderful. Even though my friend's food was dropped, they were so fast to replace it so no harm, no foul. Highly recommend Tupelo Honey!

I went out for my birthday celebration with my friends. Myself and 3 of the girls were so bummed to find out that the pork cast iron skillet dinner was off the menu. That is literally the only reason I would come here all the way from Holland. Mt husband and I have always been obsessed with it too. Please bring it back!

We were seated upon arrival. The restaurant had a peaceful ambience and our server was outstanding! We started with the Biscuits for a cause with blueberry jams which was delicious. Our food was delicious and arrived quickly. Excellent experience and I recommend others give them a try.

It's pretty pricey for the food you get. The sweet potatoe pancakes & bacon waa alright, but not outstanding.

I'm Russian, came here from the west coast recently and I love to try a little bit of everything wherever I go. Fried green tomatoes were absolutely amazing. I've personally never cared for grits previously and this was a delicious match up. Poblano chicken soup did not disappoint, I ordered a second cup. The chicken itself I would personally rate a 6/10. The sauce was good and the preparation was good but, I will personally try the boneless though next time. I myself am not the biggest fan of chicken. The bartender had honest feedback and did not steer me nor other customers wrong! The honesty was refreshing, the service was on point, and the food was worth a Sunday evening outing. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

Got a cup of tomato soup to go and this is how little they filled it… less than half the cup for $6, this is bad business.

Always a favorite with the fried green tomatoes and grits. Made it in time for happy hour pricing and is a great meal on its own or appetizer.

Came in right as they opened on a semi busy morning. Was greeted instantly with a smile and very friendly service. Food was fast and hot. Overall good vibe and not too pricey for a nice brunch!!!

We stopped into Tupelo Honey for lunch and had a great experience. Our server, Fuchsia, was incredibly sweet and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we sat down.

We couldn’t resist trying the “Biscuits for a Cause” with blueberry jam, and they were an absolute treat—fluffy, flavorful, and a great way to start the meal.

Their weekday lunch special is a great deal: half a sandwich and a side for $12.95, available Monday through Friday until 3pm. I went with the chicken pecan salad sandwich paired with the chicken poblano soup, and the combo was perfect—a little sweet, a little spicy, and super satisfying.

Highly recommend for a relaxing and delicious lunch in downtown Grand Rapids!

Chicken is the primary focus here, and it doesn't disappoint! Our server was excellent and the food was great. I wish we had tried a few more of the sides, but the parmesan potato's were great and the Mac&Cheese was not the typical stuff. I don't normally go to chain restaurants but I will go to this one again.

Presentation was good but the meatloaf was barley warm considering it came out in a cast iron dish. My wife had their trademark tupelo honey chicken. Four nuggets was disappointing.
