Sandwich was good. Took at least 45 minutes to get it, and that’s with me going to the counter to ask about it and it had been sitting there. Prepare to wait 5ever. Definitely couldn’t make it on a lunch break.
Not a lot of places have vegetarian and vegan options, let alone this many!! Soooo good!!
My wife and I stopped here. Great sandwiches. Would definitely go back.
2019: Two Beards is the perfect sandwich shop in downtown Grand Rapids. They have spectacular art on the walls, the employees are friendly and quick, the prices are very reasonable, and the food! They have tons of sandwich choices, and they're all delicious. Currently, I'm working my way through the menu. I don't have a favorite -- everything is equally wonderful. They have regular fountain pops, but my favorite are the bottles of Izze sparkling juices and Calypso flavored lemonades. A sandwich, a flavored lemonade, and a bag of BBQ kettle chips -- this is the perfect casual dinner. Best paired with a nice walk through this beautiful city.
2025 update: They have raised their prices an honestly insulting amount. I get that companies get to raise prices, but this amount prices us out. They were already pretty pricey for sandwiches, but we justified the amount because Mmm. We can't justify this amount. We're going to have to find a different restaurant downtown which is a huge shame.
Awesome food awesome vibe
Sometimes they get my sandwich right. Usually I'm so hungry I eat it anyway.
Service was friendly and efficient. Sandwiches are very good, 7.7/10. Unfortunately, they don’t match the price point of $20 (plus tip). I swear these used to be bigger, I always had to eat half later, now I can easily eat a whole one.
I see why the lines are long. Their half size is practically a normal sandwich. My only regret is not having enough room in my stomach to eat a whole size
I got a sandwich named after my favorite musician and it was amazing. A bit pricey but worth it.
Sandwiches were good, but small and we both got whole sandwiches. The wait time was over 35 minutes after ordering. For the price and the wait it isn't worth it.
Restaurantji Recommends
Listen, the food was ok but it's $17.50 for a whole sandwich was was probably only 8 inches (and missing ingredients)... so for 3 people today, plus a soda, we paid around $65. I understand inflation is a thing but this is outrageous. you do *not* even get that much to eat for this kind of money! especially when the sandwich was just mediocre. There are better sub/sandwich shops around the Grand Rapids area that are so much better... sorry guys... I liked you a few years ago but today was my last visit.
The food was delicious and very filling! I highly recommend if you are visiting Grand Rapids to check this place out!
Two Beards NEVER disappoints, they are consistent in service, food quality, and uniqueness. My daughters and I go there for special occasions, as it’s difficult to get together often these days. We have never had a sub-par experience. The Fred Sanford(#43) The Lionel Richie (#48), and The Hollywoodian (#5) are some of our faves. We are kinda food snobs which says A LOT. I could kiss the employees as they are stellar. Thank you!
Great Sandwiches- Some of the best variety in the city- Wish they had a section location that wasn't downtown as that is the only thing keeping me from being there more often!
I wish I could give this 5 stars - I felt spoiled by choice of vegan options. As of 12/30/24 there were 17 vegan sandwiches and they were are super creative! We got the Dale Earnhardt and the Ted Geisel and we're extremely happy. It's always impressive when restaurants understand how to work with tofu.
