I’ve never had such a difficult time trying to convince a restaurant to take my money. Over the course of 3 weeks I made multiple phone calls to the catering number listed on the Uncle Cheetah’s Soup Shop Website. Each time I left a voicemail explaining my catering needs (literally just wanting to order soup to pick up and serve myself). My voicemails were not answered. I then called the shop and spoke to the (awesome) people working behind the counter to see if perhaps the number was wrong. Despite catering orders not being part of their job, they took my name and phone number and promised my calls would be returned within 24 hours. Three days later, there is still no phone call. I love Uncle Cheetahs soup, and the staff who work behind the counter are always amazing. But the catering situation is so frustrating. I don’t want to hire a chain; I want to support local, but 3 weeks of ignored phone calls…? My advice: eat at Uncle Cheetah’s for lunch, but don’t plan on it for a catering option.
Who ever this new young lady with the red hair is horrible. Her customers service skills make a regular as I am not wanting to patronize the establishment. This is the 3rd horrible encounter. Shes rude to customers and staff. I have witness her handle money then go fix food with same gloves. Snap at staff. Roll eyes and snap at customers. Today was it. After waiting on other customers to clear counter for a sample, I waited to be serviced. Normally I would get asked if I wanted to try after looking for so long. She looked at me and walked a way. I waited for her to fix 2 orders. I asked to sample and was told she is too busy to give samples. Now how am I suppose to know which one I want. So I thanked her and left. This is not customers service I know you all to give.

Had a terrible experience. As soon as I stepped in the two staff members did not greet me or the people coming in and out. I walk up to the cash register to order and the staff member with the facial piercings does not say hello or can I take your order or anything at all… it gets worse.. I get home and notice I was given the wrong order….

Fantastic food! Slightly expensive but the soup was homemade. Thick and a bit chunky but in a good way. I loved it. Had the butternut bisque and a ham and cheese sandwhich. The pineapple lemonade also slaps. The interior is loud and bright for the decor theme but we ate outside at the patio tables. The menu was hard to look at with the bright lights reflecting on it so it was a bit overwhelming.

I used to love this place. Unfortunately, today’s All American grilled cheese was barely grilled, tough bread, and the garlic aioli/cheese wasn’t melted in the middle. The challah was stale. I tried calling to complain but it didn’t even ring. They were nice though.

I wish we could go to back being able to call and place an order with a human. Everyone doesn't want to use door dash or these expensive 3rd parties. Also if have to order online. You could at least upload the whole menu. This world is becoming so lazy no body wants to put in the work to run a business. It's all about the Money. This world is becoming So lazy ‼️

I am Gluten Free due to my condition and I am grateful/appreciative of being able to enjoy the SCRUMPTIOUDEEDALEEUMPTIOUS SAMMICHES on GLUTEN FREE BREAD. Soup's are delectable as well AND you can sample ANY soup on the menu if available (they've been sold out on a few soups before probably because it's so good seriously lol). I almost cried on one occasion I was misinformed and told that they ran out of bread and were only doing soups and I could not get one of my favorite SAMMICHES (they accommodated me and I got it)?. SMH. My GRILLED CHEESE AND SOUP SPOT. So good you will have cravings for this spot ????

I used to be a HUGE fan of Uncle Cheetahs. It had charm. The people cared about their product...
Now the people there don't know what soup they're serving you, let alone what's in it....
they don't take orders well (I paid for extra items I didn't get)... and if I order a specialty drink and get the regular version of it, that's not what I paid for. They had a special Lavendar Lemonade (bear in mind, I hate lemonade but wanted to give it a try)... when person brought me a reg lemonade & tried to sell it as special, it was time to complain.
I hate this cause I'm a regular.

We were in town for a business meeting and decided to eat here because we love local places. Soooooo disappointed. It was a 90 degree plus day. There was no air conditioning and no bathrooms. We ended up eating in our car. $7 for a slider sandwich that was good but not worth $7. Won't eat here again.

Today was a very sad day. I went in here, remembering how good it was the last time I was here. I got the sandwich with the goat cheese and raspberry jam. I remember it being so good. Today, the chicken was over cooked. It was hard and dry. The sandwich was to dry, it needed a lot more of the cheese and jam. I got the flight soup, thinking it was a special price. It was not. 3 6oz soups for $15. 1 12oz soup is $6. If you go for soup, get the big ones. The pretzel bread was not good. And the root beer was off. I don't know why it was such a big difference between today and the other days, but it was big enough that I don't ever want to go back. I paid $40 for us to eat today. We went home and ate instead. That's to much money to chance. Good luck with your order.

The soup was amazing, the service not so much. I was so happy to find a soup shop that would accommodate my liquid diet I’m medically on right now. When I approached the employee I explained with a smile it’s my first time at the restaurant. Instead of a friendly greeting back they grumbled something about being “busy with Door Dash” and turned away from me without a look. My husband took over the order. We wouldn’t have stayed but it’s hard to find soup in the summer especially of the puréed variety. Have thought to go back but dang… a little customer service goes such a long way.
Edit to add: today I went to Zoup on Byron Center. Soup was so tasty AND the customer service was 10/10. They even blended down a soup to accommodate my current medical diet. A little kindness goes a long way.

Foods still great. Service has declined a little bit. You used to be able to ask one of the staff about the soup and they were well informed... the most recent time I went, the new person there was... less than aware. It was apparent he didn't care, kinda shrugging it off like "we make a bunch of soups, dude."As somebody with a diet that I must be careful with, knowing what's in a soup helps. It really hurts to see people not care like they used to.
Vegetarian options: All soups are labeled & they usually have a few Vegetable-based soups.
Dietary restrictions: They serve Vegetarian & Gluten free items.
