Prices on the lamb meatballs were 21.00 per pound!! They were tasty...decent texture, not to much filler....I love that every thing in the store is natural....no hormone or chemical filled meat. I will pay the long price for natural meats. This is a property owned by electric cheeta....a neat market. It isn't a restsurant.

I ordered the chicken noodle soup, and it came with no chicken and no noodles. I even asked an employee if I had gotten the right soup, and he confirmed that I had. But I was suspicious, and so I drank the broth to the bottom and there was not a shred of chicken or a single noodle. I was not compensated. Extremely disappointed. I’m also glad I did not take it to go, because they forgot my spoon and napkins. My friends have encouraged me to be a believer in second chances, but this is egregious. Someone should be held responsible.

Food is always good but the service has gone down hill lately. Very unfriendly the last two times I went there. It was between 1-2 both times. It was the same guy, I'll go back in a year to see if he's still there.

Very cute! Small inside so plan ahead if you want to eat there. All the soups are marked gluten free, dairy free, vegan so it was easy to navigate. The gluten free bread for grilled cheese was excellent, it didn’t fall apart and was nicely crunchy. You can get a soup flight, 3 soups 6 oz for like $15.

Excellent gluten free options for soup, bread for sandwiches, and rolls for bread sides.

Definitely a hit or miss. Dining in is your best bet, take out is a gamble. Sandwiches are made incorrectly at times and soups are mixed up on a regular basis. When your order is done right the soups and sandwiches are great, but that doesn’t happen with regularity.

It's been a really long time since I've had anything Electric Cheetah. I've always their food, prices not so much. But I've heard some great things about their soup shops so I decided to pick up some grub. I liked it so much that I went back for seconds the next day. Tomato saffron bisque - a delicious taste reminiscent of a classic tomato soup! Slightly rough texture and creamy all around. Loved dipping my sandwich into this. Feta sweet potato corn chowder - I'm still dreaming about this. The base tasted like broccoli cheddar soup (instantly perfect) but the added sweet potato, corn, and feta cheese made this soup absolutely incredible. It's sweet, tangy, and full of texture. This might just be my new favorite soup. Raspberry beret sandwich - grilled chicken, rosemary goat cheese, raspberry chipotle jam, and white cheese. The flavors in this were absolutely incredible. I especially liked the raspberry chipotle spread. It gave this really bright sweetness with a little tad of heat in the mouth. Honestly can't beat this sandwich for only $8. Cuban sandwich - I wasn't a huge fan of their Cuban but it certainly wasn't bad. The pickles and spread gave it some zest but otherwise all the flavors were hard to tell apart. Still enjoyed it though. Also, shoutout to their bread. I tried the challah, pretzel, and gluten free rolls. Challah was super fluffy and sweet. The pretzel roll had that delicious signature crust and an airy interior. And somehow I ended up loving (and subsequently ordering 4 more) of the gluten free rolls. I'm not even gluten free but these things are amazing, especially when dipped in soup. They're like a crusty roll and a bit dense which is perfect when paired with soup. All around pretty great stuff from the Cheetah. They rotate their soup menu daily so it's always worth checking out. Great prices too - you can pick up a bowl of soup, bread, and a sandwich for around $15. Service was quick and easy - I did a pickup order both times, walked in, grabbed my food, and was on my way.

The food is spectacular, reasonably priced, and gets served quickly as long as they have enough staff and aren't rushed. I ordered last week and got my food brought to me at the register before the card reader could even finish reading my card. It's a take out spot, it's comfy, great for smaller groups. The Caesar salad is amazing. But, and I hope the owners see this, I might be frustrated with management. Last week I came in, and asked about the portraits hung on the walls. The three people working told me one of them is the owner, one is the head chef, two are upper management, and the others they told me were family members of the owner. After chatting, I learned the three people working have never even MET the owner before. Yet none of them had any resentment towards management, they spoke very highly of their bosses, particularly their DM. Then, last night, there are only two people working (they did a great job) one of which burns their hand very badly, and CONTINUES to work the register while the other takes care of every single order completely by themself. Both of them smiling and having great customer service. It's just crazy to me that employees clearly care about their customers, and yet have never met the person who owns the place. I left a big tip and got a sweet thank you, with a "tips really do make up a huge portion of our wages, I appreciate it" so that makes me wonder how much these dedicated people are being payed. It's a little nit-picky, but they're also one of the only shops on Wealthy Street (or really in Grand Rapids in general) without any pride memorabilia? Some members of their staff are clearly part of the LGBTQ+, I had a lovely conversation with an emplyee about their partner while they were taking care of my order and they mentioned the desire to put a pride flag up. Afterwards another employee explained to them that they specifically don't hang a pride flag because of a previous customer complaint from years ago? All in all, as a customer, I'm very satisfied with this places food and service. As a person who works in the service industry, I'm dissatisfied with the treatment of staff, and the clear lack of involvement from upper management. Also they don't have a bathroom but I know they didn't build the building, so y'a know.

For my Celiac and GF friends, this spot is IT. Almost every soup Uncle Cheetah has to offer is gluten-free and many are dairy-free as well. It's not very often that I am stumped by such an extensive menu (usually I only have one or two items I can choose from). I was so excited. On top of that, they offered a gluten-free/vegan grilled cheese sandwich and it was the move. Thank you!!

Great place to grab a quick bite of good soup. I go regularly before heading across the street to the theater. Great selection of soups. Always something new to try.Vegetarian options: Rotating selection of vegan and vegetarian soups. Always have at least a few good choices.Dietary restrictions: Have gluten free and dairy free soups clearly labeled. I do dairy free and can always find something, especially since they have great vegan soups.
