Website says item I was looking for is available in store. I get to the store and the rude snooty lady I dealt with says they don't carry it in stores. I will try not give wal-mart anymore business. I give zero (0) stars if I could.

While you can't (usually) beat their prices everything else is lacking. Employees are no where to be found and if you're lucky enough to find one they're usually irritated that you asked for help. Not friendly at all. Dare I say most lack any manners at all. Several times now we've had employees barge through with freight or a cart without saying a simple excuse me. I've gone out of my way to create room for several associates to get by and never once have I been acknowledged. A quick excuse me or thank you can go a long way. Most times the cashier doesn't say a word. The last visit we had a run in with the greeter. At checkout we told the cashier we had a case of water on the cart. She went about scanning things and we loaded the cart back up. Apparently she forgot to scan it. We didn't notice until the greeter asked to check our receipt. Mind you several customers walked out before us and he didn't ask for receipts. One customer walked by with a big tv! He was extremely rude, basically insinuating that we tried to steal it. He got so loud and accusatory that the customer who was behind us came over and also told the greeter that he heard us tell the cashier we had a case of water that needed to be scanned. Instead of listening and politely asking us to pay for it he made me carry the case of water from the exit door to the self checkout lanes... which ended up being over a 5 minute wait because the line was ridiculous. Overall it was an infuriating experience. The cashier failed to do her job and I was made out to be a criminal trying to steal a $3 case of water.

This was bad. Even for Walmart standards. I wanted to voice my issues to a manager, but no one ever answered the phone. I wanted to check lost and found for something. Called the main number and it rang for 3 min. Then some answered. Well, not answered. But I suddenly heard someone laughing and talking. I had to ask "hello?" To which I got a hello back. So I had to ask "is this Walmart?" It was! But not lost and found so I was put on hold. That hold lasted 20 min. I finally got in my car and made it all the way to the actual store to look for my wallet. It wasn't there. But I did find it elsewhere! Just, don't come to this store if you want actual help or any service.

This Wal-Mart has a depressing atmosphere compared to the nearest Meijer store, and is a much less pleasant place to shop. However, I was pleased to see they are starting to carry some items for individuals with specialty diets now such as organic foods and health foods. The employees here are much less friendly than those at the nearby Meijer. The only advantage this store has over the local Meijer is that they have a better selection of firearm accessories and firearm cleaning supplies. Meijer is a better store in nearly all possible ways, is a more pleasant place to shop, and has a better selection of specialty foods. I would only come here on the rare occasion they had something Meijer didn't have available.

Update: Since my unfortunate incident at this Wal-Mart, I have seen two people walk out with big items, one being a 52" TV and not get stopped. The door greeter tried to ask the guy for his receipt but he said no and kept rolling on buy and left. The other one was boom box and was never stopped. This store has some serious security issues!!!

Nothing like going to pick up a massive order of subs for a family Christmas only to not have them ever made. The employees rather than working with us to come up with a solution, simply passed the blame. Thank you for dropping the ball this holiday season. Absolutely do not recommend simply for the way they handle mistakes.

Would be higher stars but their bottle/can refund machines are absolutely terrible here. Half of them it can't read the barcodes and spits back (even tho they're not worn or old at all) and they don't even accept Rockdale Light deuces or 16 oz which they sell in their own store. Not sure if this is a Walmart issue as haven't been to other walmarts recently besides this.

Had 3 different employees assure me a jeweler would be at the counter. After waiting over a minute from the last employees page I decided to leave. Customer service is what drives customers back. I took my shopping list and headed to Meijer. You have lost my service.

This is my regular Walmart store. I appreciate the newer employees! They are super helpful and easy to understand. I have had to do 2 returns over the past month, and the process is easy and seamless. Terri was my cashier both yesterday and today, and she is a GREAT conversationalist, and always gives me a smile at the check out. Big clearance events right now have me spending a little extra money, but hey..Christmas gifts! I so appreciate the cookie the bakery employees give my toddler, and one even stopped me yesterday to praise her for being so thankful without prompting. Caleb in the produce depart is always so helpful and friendly. We love his smiles!

Nice store, wide aisles and it never feels all that busy or packed but I'm tired of being stared at, monitored and watched whenever using the 'do it yourself' option. I'm done shopping here and likely at Walmart period considering the Alpine location is a pretty crappy shopping experience.

Walmart.. Where do I start. My son Peter just got a new car and bring a boy he needed to put in new speakers and all that. So first I called them to see if they had the car parts I needed and their car expert said they didn't. But I didn't believe so we went in and looked and we found what we needed. I then asked another worker if the part we got would work and of course they said "no, it will not work" but instead told us nothing they have will work. We bought all the parts and put them in the car and surprise it all works.

Just in time for Artprize it seems Christo and Jeanne Claude were in GR recently and gave the Cascade Walmart a complete make over and set up one of their famous ridiculously gaudy 'contemporary' art instillations! Normally I would not write a review about a grocery store, unless it was Whole Foods, but because I heard a rumor that Walmart had took a long walk off a short pier I thought I'd go in and investigate. That and Chris J from Yelp was bragging about how clean the bathrooms were hooked me in to give it a pee ....p. The art instillation, if that is what it is, makes it very difficult to find a whole lot of things, but the black tarps juxtaposed against the white is an interesting artistic statement. What that statement is I could not tell you; and I'm an artist, though I'm a realist not an abstractionist. Hopefully this is just a temporary thing that they have going on, otherwise it might scare most of their customer base away. As a bonus; there does seem to be a lot of beautiful women in red shirts helping with the instillation ...

Shopped here last night... The store was filthy, floors littered with dirt and papers. When I reached the automated checkout it broke down half way through the process. Person assigned to that area was unable to assist and had to call for help. That person took 10 minutes to arrive. VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE!!

Addicted to the low prices. They have everything. I won't shop anywhere else for household staples. Try using the app, never overpay again. Cleaned up and the selections are the same as the other stores.
