Been wanting to try this place for a long time. On Saturday, we had 8:00 pm entry tickets for the Lantern Festival and we're looking for a place to eat on the way. Called West Side Social around noon to ask about the best time to arrive for a short wait for dinner. She said on a Saturday, if we were to arrive by 5:00-5:30, we should be able to get seated without much wait. When we arrived at 5:20 pm we were told the wait would be 90 minutes. I guess being so busy is a good problem for them, but not so much for us. I doubt we'll ever try Westside Social again unless they start taking reservations.

Always excellent.Parking: Very little parking. You can drive around forever. You can park across the street at family fare. It says no, but there are hundreds of spots. Crossing Lake Michigan drive can be tricky.

Went here over the weekend with a group of friends before a concert in downtown GR. The atmosphere and general feel of the restaurant was great. The restaurant is just a short drive to downtown, but far enough away that it wasn't super hectic or stressful going before a show. Good food, great drinks, and excellent service. Our server Hannah was fantastic! Definitely will be back!Recommend the Steak Chimi sandwich, Monte Cristo, and the Social Fries! Also they have a great selection of craft beers on draft.

We had a large party on a Friday night and the manager did a great job at accommodating us! Manager Eric is the best and so was our waiter. We have had the same waiter before and he is awesome! Best food around! We make West side Social a regular date night destination with our siblings!

Great place for 4 or less people. They have one table that can accommodate 6 people, so the wait time for larger groups is absurd.Food, service, and atmosphere are great and for smaller parties, there's rarely much of a wait.Parking: Free lot next to restaurant, but often fills up and is challenging to navigate. People often end up parking at nearby businesses across the street.

Love West Side Social! Easy waitlist to place your name on instead of waiting in line at the restaurant. They do a great job being friendly, serving great foods and offering specials weekly. I am a vegetarian and their homemade veggie burgs is absolutely delicious!

We went for a late lunch/early dinner. It was both of our first time coming here so we didn’t know what to get but we shared the spinach artichoke dip, I got the mushroom mac and my mom got the chicken roulade. We loved our food and had the sweetest waitress.

She's half the reason my son and I love going there?Kid-friendliness: I'm teaching my 11 year old son restaurant edict, how to read the bill, taxes, how the card is processed, how to figure out the tip, and why the tip is necessary. The employees have been very kind and patient with us.

WOW! I wanted something easy, and I went there thinking 'bar food'. Man, was I wrong! I mean, it's food, served in a bar, but that's as close as it gets. I was just blown away with my meal. I ordered off the specials menu, so I won't bore you because it probably won't be available when you go, but it was food fit for the finest restaurant. Just DELICIOUS, innovative, great texture...real cuisine! When I glanced around, EVERYONE's plate looked good! I can't wait to get back and explore their menu in more depth.Parking: Parking in their lot can be tight during peak periods.
