I have been going to adobe in and out since I was a teenager, back in 1990. My favorite is the beef and bean wet tostada, I got a deluxe wet burrito today. Their are 3 choices of wet sauce. I got the meat. Great flavor, portion isn't excessively large. I found it very filling and delicious. I've never been disappointed. Love the fresh salsa.
I work 3rd shift and ended my night around 10:05am. I was hungry for dinner but knew only breakfast was being served beside at Denny's and IHOP. Oh how i was so pleased to see the open sign lit up at adobe on Chicago dr. But I wanted to make sure so I checked online and it said they open at 10:30 am. My joy slipped away for a moment until I saw a young lady outside with the familiar uniform that servers wear. I rolled down my window on this chilly morning and ask if they are open. "Always" was the answer. The workers get there early and start setting up for the lunch rush. You can order but it may take a little bit longer. Definitely. Worth the wait.
Thank you all for taking pride in making and serving us delicious food everyday.

**DO NOT ORDER THE CHICKEN CHILLI!!** Almost $8 for a TINY CUP of chicken Chilli that wasn't even filled to the top!! (which isn't even that good tbh) The tacos used to have way more meat in them. Prices have went up AND they charge a "service fee" on ALL orders (not just credit card payments) which just looks TERRIBLE on your business ! Why not just increase your prices on your food (although they're high enough) but I would rather pay a few more cents here and there instead of paying a stupid "service fee" !!! Not a good experience! Could have went to a sit down resteraunt and ate for the amount we spent here for 2 dinners !

TLDR: Decent Tex Mex every time with absolutely addictive chips and salsa! ?

I don’t know that I’ve ever actually been inside Adobe- I’ve always gotten take out ?, but it’s always good and always the same quality (that’s a good thing.?)

I grabbed a bean and cheese wet burrito for myself, and a chicken enchilada meal for my friend. I also ordered a chips and guacamole (see photo - with hand for scale- to see the size of the bag of chips that comes with the guacamole- it’s a small bag, so keep in mind if you are ordering chips and salsa) and an order of salsa- I didn’t end up really needing it since our meal orders came with 4 mini cups of salsa that we didn’t use for our meals, but I saved the big salsa to continue eating with more chippies at home ?.

My friend got a red cream soda and I got an unsweetened iced tea.

We were both happy with our meals, and I was pleased with the wait time to get our food- it wasn’t long.

I can’t say anything about the atmosphere, because I took the food to go, but I’m sure it’s fine ?.

Vegetarian options: I don’t eat meat, but I got a bean and cheese wet burrito and they have a sauce without meat- you have to ask for it, otherwise they use meat sauce with wet burritos and enchiladas.

Parking: Plenty of parking in the free lot

I have really always loved the food at Adobe. I do feel like it has changed the last few years. I went through the drive-through last night, and noticed a service charge of 3% on my bill. Not a big amount, but when I called the restaurant to ask about it, the manager told me it was “to buy supplies and things that we need to run the restaurant, and also for inflation and stuff” I was less than impressed with that response. I think that is super tacky, and they should just raise the price more to compensate. However, some of the prices of have really increased a lot for what you actually get.

You like you get less food now . but they raised the prices. No longer worth the convenience . Cheaper to make tacos at home .

As we are ordering our meal, the cash register read out shows me a “service charge” fee. Now granted, some businesses are charging service charges if you use a credit card. This was applied before they knew how I was paying. I asked. Response was, so we “keep up with the competition”.
I said, raise you prices and I pay the posted menu price. Don’t add on service fees just because. Well I guess I go to the competition!

The chicken dip is my favorite. We get take out from here quite frequently and they’re consistently good !

$19.00 for two beef burritos! Very little beef, mostly lettuce and cheese! This was in Standale, don’t think I’ll be back.
