Applebee's Grill + Bar

Food was very meh... got the ribeye... huge mistake. Maybe 1/2" thick, supposedly 12oz for $24 with sides, mashed potatoes and broccoli, that felt like they've been sitting in a pan/ hopper all evening, perhaps multiple days. Asked for it medium rare, came in medium to well. Zero char or crust with unrendered/raw-ish fat. It's difficult to fault the cook considering how thin the steak was. Reminded me of a sandwich steak, if I'm honest. I basically spent $40, after a lemonade and tip, to eat food I could have made much better and cheaper at home.

I've always had a gr8 dine in experience, and delivery, so not sure what's up with this. It tastes... .. fair. But after spending 80+ for a *nice Fri night dinner... ..I can't do a thing but SMH
I just ask that y'all PLZ post photos of what ppl are Really ordering!... "Otherwise one may misconstrue this as False Advertising", no?

Went to get “drinks” tonight, which ended up being a single drink because our bartender, Ashley, didn’t ask if I’d like another until we were ready for the bill. We also experienced Ashley be rude to the customers around us, chew out a coworker in front of the entire bar, and slam refrigerator doors closed in frustration. The apps were good, but the service by her was not.

Went in for drinks tonight and was served by the bartender Ashley. She wasn’t very nice to anyone around. There was a fellow server I witnessed her scold and yell at in front of the entire restaurant. No one deserves to feel that way. It made me extremely uncomfortable and I was ready for the bill after that.

Worst Bloody Mary I ever had !! No garnish just ice one small olive...sister steak was tough couldn't eat it .

The customer service was very good, the waiter was kind and attentive, but the food is really not worth it. I ordered some shrimp, and they had no flavor at all. My sister ordered the pasta, and it didn’t taste like anything either.

Normally I have no issues with this place. The food is usually good and the service is great. Not today! I got my food and the second I picked up my burger grease just came pouring out from it. It got all over my fries and my burger buns was soggy. I couldn't even find my waitress to tell her. She disappeared after taking my order. Someone else brought out our food. I had to wave down the hostess that sat us to tell her to please take my plate back. A few minutes later my waitress and a manager showed up. The manager really didn't seem to care much. He was just like let me know if you want me to make you something else. No I don't want nothing else. Your heart attack on a bun just turned me off to applebee's for a while. After my wife finished her food. We got our check for her meal. It took a while for my waitress to come back and grab the money. She disappeared again. I heard her up front chatting because the restaurant was kinda slow this afternoon. Don't get me wrong she was very nice and the best part of the experience there. I think he name was samantha.We were there a few weeks ago and she was our waitress and she was super amazing....today not so much. I just wished we saw her a little more instead of sitting up front chatting. It will be a long while before I come back.

Waitress made a point of telling us apps and drinks were 1/2 off. When we got our bill it was full price. We asked about it and she said the app we ordered was the only one that wasn't half off. Why didn't she tell us? Very disappointed and a lower
tip as a result.

Went to the one in Grandville mi and it was terrible. My husbands food was sooooo greasy that when he picked it up the bun on top and bottom was so soggy it fell apart and the grease came pouring out badly and got everywhere and made all the fries soggy. My food came out And was watery and not even hot. I ate all mine cause I was too hungry but my husband's was so nasty. And our waitress barely was even around, didn't ask us if the food was good and cared more about disappearing and talking the whole time rather than help her customers. Big turn off and gross. Do better. Will not be coming here for awhile. Disappointed

We thought we would give them another chance since we received a gift card. They overcook everything!! This time service was not great and every table around me had a complaint. Do all Applebees cook overcook the steaks and meat or just the one in Grandville?!

Robin was a great server. Food was over-fried. The mozzerella sticks were done right. They refunded us the cost of the overdone chicken tenders, and onion rings and fries.
