Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Our waitress was helpful with questions we had. The food was very tasty. We usually get trout or Roast Beef, but they aren't available at this time. So we ate breakfasts instead. Hope the trout and roast beef returns. Both are our favorites! Those are favorites of a few friends we go out with quite often also. Thank you.

Loved this place for 20+ years but I will not return once they do their “woke” remodel

The food was not hot. Barely warm. Meal came with hush puppies and was not done. They did replace them about 20 minutes after our food was served and they were over cooked. We were told that cornbread muffins would be ready in about 5 mins. After about 10 minutes the waiter said he didn’t know what was going on with muffins. We were told two more times that he didn’t know what was happening regarding the muffins. We had put food in to go boxes (approximately 25 minutes after the meal had been served) the waiter came and brought my hushpuppies replacement. Still no cornbread muffins. About 5 minutes later he brought cornbread muffins. I broke one took a bite and they were cold. Also, was buttered. We asked how was food it was stated not good. I asked to speak with manage. The cashier acted to be ignoring me. My friend who was paying said she is ignoring you. I then stated loud enough that I would like to speak with a manager. She stated we know about the muffins. She went to kitchen someone came out with to go order. When I stated about talking with management she said in her microphone for manager. No one ever came out. I realized the next morning that the muffins had to have been left from someone else meal due to the fact that they were buttered as well as why they were cold. Also, please note that we were the only African Americans customers in the restaurant for the hour plus we were there. I believe the cashier knew what had been done regarding those muffins. As we left she was laughing so hard. Please if you’re African American please don’t go to cracker Barrel in Granville, Michigan. Unfortunately I didn’t realize about the butter being on the muffins until the next day. I did. It eat them thank God. Please pay attention to your food. We were there as my friend went to buy boots and hat for her grandson.

I could swear I ordered chicken n dumplings and meatloaf. There was dumplings without the chicken. I’ve ordered chicken n ducklings every time I eat here no problems. Why now, was it because I ordered takeout this time. Did I look funny or something, meatloaf,green beans and corn was on point, but where’s my chicken in the dumplings, so so disappointed you guys. No more tips for you! And maybe my service. My appetite was lost. To the guy who took my order, and the kitchen!

Most of our food was cool and one dish looked like it had set for a while before being brought out. The broccoli was cooked until pale green and mushy.

Everything was very good, very nice sever and hosts who sat us and also the cashier. Food was very good, fast and fresh. 👍

Only suggestion would be to fix the parking lot, it is in very bad condition, so many big potholes throughout the front side and back parking area.
