Always great food. They were hopping and doing a great job of assembly line production right up until they got to my burger bowl which was completely setup for about 5 minutes or more.... at which time the assembly line moved down and noone put the actual bacon double cheeseburger in it.
Had I not been watching, I would've got home to a salad with nothing warm in it but the grilled onions.

At the five guys in grandville, I placed a pickup order on doordash at 9:15pm. I walked in right when it said it would be ready (~9:44). I bought a drink separate from my order when arriving. When showing my doordash order to the young blonde lady (Hailey, not sure if the spelling is correct) she looked back at me a replied with “Kkkk what about it.” I replied with “I was just wondering if I could pick up my order…?” She looked me up and down, and said “We need to finish your fries first before you can get that.” In a really rude tone. My boyfriend walked out of the bathroom mid interaction and later asked me why she was talking like that. Another customer came in pretty late to closing (9:51) and hadn’t even placed an order yet. Seemed like a bit of karma to me. I completely understand the etiquette of restaurants closing. I am a server for one of the best in downtown grand rapids. Now I wouldn’t expect five guys to have 5 star customer service but the blatant attitude and disrespect to not only me, but the guest coming in behind me was ridiculous. The guys in there were all very kind and normal. Hailey was the only one acting this way. Maybe she shouldn’t work the night shifts ??♀️ I know from everyday experience you get screwed over in the restaurant industry, but it’s no excuse to make your guest feel out of place and unwelcome.

I usually order from this location cause it’s close to Target but I was really disappointed with my recent visit. My burger was super greasy to where it leaked through the foil and paper bag. I had to set it on the floor of my car instead of my seat. When I got home to eat my burger and fries, the bag had a hole at the bottom and there was grease on my fries too. I’m really confused on what went wrong.
Best burger ive ever had, I got the all the way. And a shake. Amazing! Family of 4 about 65$

Shocked that a burger and fries is 25 dollars when you get an unseasoned patty cooked on a dirty flat top with some of the nastiest soggy greasy fries ive ever seen. Also, the old lady who called me when my order was ready visably upset when I didnt teleport from my seat to her to take the grease soaked bag of garbage I spent 44$ on. Go anywhere else, this is steak and shake with Gordan Ramsey prices-no seriously, I looked it up. You can get a burger and fries at Gordan Ramseys burger joint for 25.50$ Awful experience, will never be back. You guys have joined service professor as the next literal worst thing in the grand rapids area.
