Worst ihop I have ever been to. Waited almost 2 hours for a pick up order (mind you get ordered before you get there) only to be told it wasn’t ready. Well, I waited for another hour and then some. Never got food servers and managers tried to blame me like I’m the one making it. And didn’t even try to help me cancel my order. It’s pancake and eggs at most it’s not rocket science.

Sat at the entrance for over 40 minutes, without being noticed. Poor cook by himself and 2 snotty waitresses, multiple open tables. Older waitress needs an attitude adjustment. Shame on management for allowing this on a Saturday evening.

This is the normal go to place on Sundays. Unfortunately there’s something going on. There were people outside already on a waiting list and then a lot of open spaces to be able to seat all of them. I guess a shortage of employees. The person serving our table took a long time as she was attending some other tables. Once she got to our table, she did a great job.

The server was rude, not happy at all for us to be there, she didnt even refill our waters once or coffee. We were very patient and didnt really say anything. After paying, when we were leaving the server chased us to our car demanding to tip her more because the "managers told her to do it" otherwise they were gonna take our plate number and call the cops. We are very unhappy with this experience, we love iHop, so sad.

Idk why I keep going there. Maybe it's because my friends like it. Everytime I order something it is wrong. I thought I would try scrambled eggs and a muffin. The eggs were cold but the plate was warm. Sent it back told them just to keep the eggs. Guess I will just get a water and a muffin. So far they haven't screwed that up. The wait staff is always nice. I was a regular but properly seek other places now even though it's close and convenient.

Just read another review where the server was being suspicious of not returning change had a similar experience where our server 2 weeks ago placed a gratuity charge on a table of 4…. Was going to leave a bigger tip in cash before I noticed the charge so will probably avoid this particular IHOP all together…

Beware Seniors If you go to this IHOP for the 6 dollar breakfast you will get charged 14 dollars for exactly the same thing off the menu. Tell them You Want The 6 Dollar Breakfast. If they have a problem walk out and go to one of the other 3 IHOP's in Grand Rapids. How dare you rip off Seniors at Christmastime 12-18-2024. I will be in to talk to your Management soon. If someone looks over 30 you servers at this location better be asking if Seniors want the 6 dollar breakfast even if they look 30 years old . That's my Tip.

I feel bad for the single poor soul working here today. No manager in sight. Food is just sitting under warmers waiting for this guy to do stuff that one more person could help get taken care of expeditiously..... This franchise has taken a severe tumble from the past.....
Thank goodness I am not eating here. Nor will I probably ever be doing so again.
The server was unprofessional. Right after handing me my food, he gave me the check when I didn't ask for it. After that, he kept coming back multiple times because he wanted me to pay. He whispered, "Can you pay because I'm about to leave.."

I wanted to sit in a booth (there were plenty open) but they wanted me to sit at a certain table because of whose turn it was to get a customer. They eventually cleaned off a booth in the servers area so we could sit at one. It would have been nice to get a refill earlier in our lunch.
