Recently had one of their deep dish speciality pizzas and was blown away at how delicious it was. The beer and cider my wife and I shared were excellent. Will definitely again drive the hour and 15 minutes it took to get there.

We have wanted to come here since they opened so we were excited to finally have a chance. Their food is from the pizza place Crust 54, which is connected to the brewery. We tried a Chicago style pizza for the first time and it was really really good. Both the crust and the sauce have a really good flavor. They have beer, cider, and a red and a white wine. Service is great. They have two TVs. They also have gluten-free and dairy free pizza. I’m going to try that next time.

Had the pleasure of trying out Oakestown Brewery during the Downtown Grandville Vintage Fest. We enjoyed the beer and cider selections (very tasty and unique!), as well as a snack of cheesy breadsticks! Tom - the owner was a hoot to chat with while we drank, and our waitress (sorry I don't remember your name!) was fabulous. Highly recommend Oakestown Brewery, and Downtown Grandville in general!

My wife & I count ourselves fortunate to have visited Oakestown. The staff & owner Tom made the time to chat us up and provide the full back story of how the brewery came to be—along with their sister location in South Haven. The variety of beers on tap was great and most likely diverse enough for most everyone's taste. Onsite pizza partner Crust 54 is slinging some seriously great pies, so with a drink & food combination like that why not stop in and check 'em out?

I have been to over two hundred of the breweries in Michigan. This just made my top ten. Had a red ale, a scotch ale and an IPA-all were excellent. The deep dish pizza is to die for- top notch quality ingredients, the sauce was exquisite, the crust was delightful, and the sausage and pepperoni were top notch. Can’t wait to bring all my friends here! Thanks for a wonderful experience!

We visited Oakestown Brewery specifically for the advertised “Carnivore Pizza”. We were extremely disappointed to get served a regular pizza with a ‘vegan’ crust that they label “carnivore”.
The Carnivore way of eating is a zero carb diet in which only animal products such as meat, eggs, and dairy are consumed.
We cannot imagine WHY in the world they would use a VEGAN crust and brag about the applesauce and gluten free flour used to make the crust. This is so far from being Carnivore.
Their rationale for calling it “Carnivore” is because they use a scant amount of pepperoni, sausage and ham as their toppings. A more suitable name for this pizza might be something like 3-meat pizza. To call it “carnivore” is dishonest and misleading.
Also note: they only serve mediocre beer and sugary pop as drinks. If you want something different, you need to bring it yourself.
