Me and my wife went in for a steak and burger on Sunday. Our server was Michael. The food was terrible and the service was below average. The reason to this complain is that the food my wife has eaten gave her food poisoning. She hasn’t left the bed besides to puke and other gross things. This is our 3rd time having a terrible experience. Dining and eating.

Where do I even begin? Chris (our server) was the BEST!! So friendly, great sense of humor, and quick on his feet with our food delivery and service. This was my daughters first time at a Texas Roadhouse, and it did not disappoint. From the food to the service, she wished we lived closer to Grand Rapids. Portion size was above and beyond the cost. My ribeye was prepared perfectly and melted in my mouth. We both tried the ribs; fall off the bone meat, paired with a great BBQ sauce. And my daughter loved the Mac and cheese. As much as the food was everything we hoped for, Chris made our night! Superior service. Hopefully the next time we are down from Traverse City we are blessed enough to see him again.
In case u don't want to read my novel, I'll try to summerize:
Their system to tell u it's time to go to ur table is extremely flawed! I wanted to rip in to the hostess so bad. Our 20-30 minute wait turned 40-50 because of this!
We got great food. Probably the only good thing about our time here today.
The service was terrible. Empty glasses for the majority of our meal. Nobody around to ask for help. Had to creepily watch and wait for another table to order in order to get waitress attention.
This was 2nd time in a row we have had a bad experience at this location. Bad, inedible-ly salty food and bad service the last time.
Went in for a late lunch. Pit our name in and was to 20-30 minute wait. After about 20 min, I get the txt to "proceed to the host stand to get one of the next open tables," so that's what we did. We went to the congested area by the host stand where lots of people r waiting to he seated and others r trying to leave. Not a very comfortable place to stand and wait. We waited 5 minutes and I get another txt saying the same thing, gather my party and head to host stand. I think we were supposed to check in or something, but the txt didn't say anything about talking with the host just go to that area. I don't go here very often to know these things. Idk if they recognize me or what, but 10 min later when I finally made a comment to the hostess about having got the txt and seeing people come up after us get seated first (it had been 15 minutes since receiving the txt, plus the 20 waiting before the txt). The girl asked if we checked in. Yes, I checked in when we got here, that's how I got the txt, right? She looked and there were 2 parties a head of us. HOW!? We waited longer watching more people get called to a table who came up after us. Finally, 25 minutes (give or take 5 minutes) after receiving the first txt telling us to come to the front and 45 minutes (give or take 5 min) after getting there the girl says, follow me and walks away. Mind u there r 30-40 people in this area waiting for a table and all other parties were called by name. She apparently was talking to me. She wasn't looking at me, she walked past me and was 2 people away as she spoke. We followed her to a table and hoped our experience was going to get better from there....wrong.
Well, not completely wrong. The food was great. The service on the other hand, not so much. We were placed at the end of a "no outlet" section. Our waitress came by once to check on us after we ordered and before our food came. We sat with empty cups for most of the time we were at the table. Because of the location of the table, there were not pass by waitresses that we could ask for something. We Had to creepily watch and wait for a nearby table to order to pull her before she walked away. We looked around for our waitress multiple times, couldn't spot her anywhere, but i could see a couple other waitresses chitchatting near the check out stand, just out of reach to try to get their attention. I would have brought any of this up to a manager, but no manager came to our table or was seen. I do not eat at Texas Roadhouse very often, and after this experience, I want to even less.
The last time I ate here, I had a poor experience also. I don't remember exact details, but I remember inedible-ly salty food and poor wait service also.

Never again. We had dinner about 8pm on a Friday night. Our steaks had to be sent back 2 times. I'm on chemo and refuse to eat meat swimming in blood. Baked potato needed more baking. Cook forgot to split potato before putting butter n sour cream in it. The roll basket came to us raw! Not baked at all! Waitress was flaged down then went Mia for a long time before returning with 3 rolls for 4 people. Drinks where never refilled not even our water. Service was so subpar and steaks where sadly like old shoe leather. Never again. I'd give them zero stars if I could. Very disappointed Texas Roadhouse. 4 other diners where celebrating a adult birthday. I'm no prude but where 40 somethings extremly drunk. I was literally shocked nobody cut them off on alcoholic drinks. I sincerely hope no drunk driving accident occurred.
Went there on Superbowl Sunday. The food was alright. The atmosphere was dull. Just wouldn't have went there if I was choosing

Understaffed. We went in at a slow time. Plenty of open clean tables(10+). 20 min b4 we were called in then 10 more to wait for someone to seat us. (((((The waitress was really good))))2 orders were not cooked right my steak was overcooked (extra rare was ordered medium was served) my buddy ordered medium well and got rare. However the waitress got things taken care of. And sent the manager after.

Consistently good food. Avoid if you have a peanut allergy. The steaks are quite tasty for the price point.

I put an online order in one hour early was supposed to pick it up at 8:30 sat around the restaurant waiting for 40 minutes. I did not get anything. I was told they didn’t even start cooking the order yet trying to get my money back still waiting what a horrible manager.

The food was OK. I had country fried steak. I guess I don’t know what I expected it to be, but it sure wasn’t that. And it was so noisy in there you couldn’t even talk across the table music going way too loud people trying to talk over the top of the music. It was just not a good experience.

Filet was awesome. Baked potato was Luke warm and the macaroni and cheese tasted gritty. I'm also not a fan of their seating procedures. Always make me feel like I am intruding on their time
