While in the area we decided to check out Rays. The food was just ok. Not bad , but nothing to rave about in regards to taste. My pork sandwich didn’t have much smoke taste & wasn’t very warm ,but the fries were very good . Service was a little slow & inattentive. My drink from the bar was tasty! Probably one of the best Moscow mules I’ve had in years. Maybe because we popped in 45 min before closing ( there was only about 6 customers besides us ) could be the reason...
UPDATE:
We tried it again and had an excellent meal! The Brisket was great. They also accommodated my husband’s gluten allergy nicely.

My husband ordered a 1/4 chicken and his order came with the tiniest chicken leg and thigh we have ever seen. It was also over cooked.

The ribs were OK but that gumbo was a amazing!
I need to come back during the summer to enjoy that awesome outside area.
