I have been in the area for over 13 years, my children and I know this store like the back of our hand. The staff is always great and helpful. For a while I couldn’t shop for myself due to a horrible car accident and going back in the store after being in the bed for months it was completely refreshing to shop a little for myself again. But this review is particularly for Carol and Cree. Thank you so much for the excellent customer service in which you both provided. I was there with my 16 year old son and I wasn’t feeling the best but you both exceeded my expectations with assistance. Thank you for making my grocery shopping experience amazing as it could be.

I do my best NOT to shop at any Kroger but especially this GPW location which is nearby. Just returned from a quick trip there since weather is bad, buying just enough to get through weekend. Eight items on my list and only four in stock. If I knew this I wouldn’t have gone at all. Checked availability online before leaving. Completely ignored at the cheese counter, as usual, and appears they don’t carry Stilton cheese anymore and have replaced it all with some similar looking brand. Nope. I felt I was interrupting 4 chatting employees when I loaded items to begin checkout. Seriously, I am NOT hard to please but Kroger continues to disappoint. I assume management is particularly bad at this location, since everyone clearly would rather be somewhere else.

Today I wanted a small prepared salad from the deli area. 2 people were behind the counter area, cleaning. The young lady saw me but did not acknowledge. She crossed in front of me, looked annoyed, and turned her back to me to continue cleaning. A man who was cleaning the slicer told her he was trying to leave early. They both ignored me. I left. The lack of acknowledgement has occurred to me before at this store. The area was not closed. Lights were on and the display case was lighted. The store has problems. Front entrance is not clean. Stockers often block the aisles. The store shelves can be without supplies. Overall, too crowded, too small, not well kept or managed.

I order chicken from the Delhi quite a few times now,When I call I have to call a week ahead of time.It's still a problem its hard to get someone on the phone I called today and I can't place an order.They say there full for monday I live in grosse point but often has to travel outside the city to other stores. Because this Kroger's can never satisfy my order. No matter when I call. Sign unhappy customer

For being the closest Kroger to home, I avoid this location as much as possible. Store is too small and aisles too narrow. The bigger Kroger stores in the area (Marter & Jefferson, 9 Mile & Harper) offer a much larger selection of everything.

The deli person purposely took 45 min to make 2 lbs of meat. KNOWING IM TRYING TO SAVE TIME. IVE CHECKED OUT AND SHE STILL HELPED SOMEONE BEFORE ME. I CAME BACK 4 TIMES.

My Debit card purchase was denied .and still the funds where tooking out off my account. I did have anymore to buy my groceries. The manager is saying it up to my bank . To put the money back. My bank is saying it was purchased and my transactions is off that too. This is not good . There should be a better system. If your purchase is denied . They should not have the right to take your money . Please customers be careful off this . You will upset like me. . I calling better business on them today. I’m going to be shopping at ALDIs from now on

Horrible customer service The manager the short woman with dirty b Blonde hair is horrible rude inconsiderate. Does not know how to manage a store rushing you out at the last minute Like they had to go to emergency surgery. Terribly Unacceptable!!!!!!!
