Me and my family had lunch at Noorjahan Restaurant, the food was very awesome and tasted great and was a good quality. Our server was Tazul, he was very courteous and efficient in delivering the food and catered to our every need. The food was very tasty awesome and high quality. Great tasting Indian food!

I want to start by saying that the food is amazing—my kids really enjoy it every time we order. However, I have to mention that only about 1 out of 10 times we actually receive our order correctly. Despite emphasizing multiple times that I would like no spice so my kids can enjoy the meal, today was not one of those times. The food was delicious, but it was even too spicy for me, despite my repeated requests for no spice. We keep coming back because we love Indian food, but it’s disappointing when our meals are not prepared as requested. It’s frustrating to come home with a meal that my kids can't eat because it's too spicy for them. Please listen to your customers.

What has happened to this place?????
Over the past year the food quality and consistency has been on a rapid decline.
The chicken has been so dry and tough that was inedible. Kept going back because this used to be a weekly go to for us but the visits have been more bad than good lately. Not many Indian restaurants nearby, but this was our favorite because they have some dishes that others do not. Very unfortunate and hope they turn it back around.

Gone severely downhill in past few years and prices hiked up........seems like they are using frozen chicken strips now...cheese naan had no cheese and tasted like wet cardboard. Won't be ordering from this location again

Their butter chicken is great. The Tikka, well, let's chop those birds up a little bit smaller. Nice little place but it reminds me of some isolated store in an 80s movie. Let's make the place look a little bit more interesting... It's in Grosse Pointe

Customer service was great

I love the food but every time i have ordered door dash pick up there has been no silverware or napkins included. this seems to be a pretty bare minimum step for preparing pick up orders and when i order to be delivered to the work place i don't always have silverware here! Super inconvenient—I can’t eat tika with my bare hands…. Also there website contact page doesn’t even work so here i am leaving a public comment

This place/location used to be five star before, during, and at least a year after the pandemic. It was our family favorite. Now, it's borderline uneatable due to flavor and the seemingly old/overcooked taste of the food. We've gotten two carry outs this year (2024) and they have been shockingly bland, old, and overcooked. The chicken in all dishes has been hard/over cooked and taste as if it is pre-cooked then covered in whatever sauce you select for your dish. The cut of the meet is even different (used to be cubed chicken now sliced) The naan seemed old and it was clear the recipe had changed from pervious years (and not in a good way). Very disappointing since it used to be so good.

this tastes DISGUSTING. ive been buying from noorjahan ever since 2021, and all i can say their food is getting worse and worse. I bought their mattar paneer and it’s literally resident evil food. Was 80% peas and 10% of the curry and 10% of the paneers. It tasted like nothing, straight up air. The paneers are also frozen too, it was basically foam. Do not buy from here unless you want tasteless food.

This location is not the one for you. You will be disappointed. Very inconsistent. Been here too many times to count and always the same story. It feels like the kids are running their parent’s business here.

Travel down the street to their other location in Grosse Pointe Park where they take pride in what they do. The other location is farrrrr superior.

Best Indian restaurant in metro Detroit.

Update. Today must have been a bad day for them because my food taste watered down and they had me waiting 30 minutes after I called in 15 minutes prior to coming. There’s other great consistent Indian restaurants in the area. I’ll never spend money with them again after today. They should have made a different suggestion if they were running out of ingredient.
