We recently hosted a baby shower at Pendy's and had a fabulous experience! Susan was so attentive and involved as we planned and the day of the event everything went flawlessly. The space, the service, the food and beverages...all top notch. Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking to host an event!

Wow, but not in a good way. I debated writing this because everybody has an off night so we went back after a dismal first experience. Waste of time and money. Servers were great and highly apologetic, but it wasn't their fault that the kitchen can't figure out how to get temperatures and weighs correct. Over done pork, cold potatoes, filet was not 6 ounces even uncooked, lettuce was beyond wilted, wine had been opened too long and was skunked. They asked if I wanted it replaced with another glass. I said, "yes" and they charged me for 2... Really wanted Pendy's to succeed but unless they get a chef in there to justify their prices, it's just going to be another empty space along Mack.

We had a bar reservation but I had messaged the owner asking if I could have a table if they have one available, we walked in and got sat at a table. The service was amazing, the minute we got low on our drinks we had a new one, I had a iced tea and he had a pop. The owner was walking around table to table making sure everything was good, she's very nice her name is Susan. I had Filet Mignon with shoestring potatoes, green beans with red peppers tender crisp and seasoned, yummy! I added a side of mushrooms that is a definitely a portion you can share! I also had the cream of mushroom soup which was also good. My friend had the French dip sandwich which was made with Prime Rib which he raved about. They give you pumpernickel bread with a bean spread when you walk in which was yummy! For this restaurant being a newer spot, they definitely know what they're doing. I will be definitely returning to try something else. I definitely recommend giving it a try!

Second visit was a big improvement over first visit, which was right after they had opened. First thing I noticed was they had improved on the atmosphere and had more of a fine dining, steakhouse feel. Service was on point and food was delicious. I had frog leg special and wife had veal scallop. On top of all of that, I stupidly left my wallet at the table and didn't realize it till the next morning. I got a hold of someone there before they had opened, and picked it up that afternoon with all the cash and credit cards intact. So not only can you count on a good night out there, you can be assured that they have honest people working there. If you haven't been back since they first opened, I recommend giving them another shot.

Come as you are is what it says on the webpage. we were seated, served wine and ordered apps at pendys and there a good half hour when a lady came over and acted weird and then asked my husband to remove his hat. We were in the middle of eating so he took it off. we felt discussed and targeted. had we been informed upon arrival that no hats were allowed we would have politely left. Neither the food nor atmosphere are worthy of no hats service. Ahi tuna app is opal colored and gross. mashed potatos and steamed broccoli bland and textureless. we will never go back. Come as you are. But dont wear a hat. This place wants to be very inclusive to only its immediate "non hat wearing" GP or GPWresidents.

We arrived for our rez this weekend. The hostess seated us and servers brought wine. we ordered an app. we were there fully a half hour and our app had arrived when an employee (we later were informed shes the owner, Karen) came over and asked my husband to remove his hat, that it was the rule. We were already eating so we didnt feel we were in a position to leave so he took his hat off. Had the hostess or one of the 3 other employees who waited on us told us upon arrival no hats were allowed we would have politely left. Our choice. To let us sit there and drink wine and order apps and THEN advise that hats arent allowed is beyond rude and stupid and felt very much like we were targeted in some way. Their webpage says Come as you are. Further Pendys isnt worthy of a no hats policy. The ahi tuna is presliced and has an unwelcome opal sheen. The food is flat and boring and overpriced. Mashed are bland as are the steamed broccoli. If youre going Come as you are. But dont wear a hat. In fact you better be over 60, wearing cackies and not of a hat wearing persuasion because you will be asked to leave by the owner. Ill never go back nor will my family and friends.

Filet was excellent. Wine was refreshing! Every detail thought of, and our meal was pure perfection. Eric, our waiter, was amazing!

This place is a new classic. Harkens back to the days Of when The Hill Seafood & Chop house was the place. Pendys has taken that spot & offers a great range of upscale classics in a wonderful environment reminiscent of Carlton Varney.Great bar, great food and great people.

I went to Pendy's on a Saturday night with my husband. I ordered a Tito's and soda and my husband ordered a manhattan. He did not specify which type of whisky he wanted. The bartender did not ask which whisky he preferred. I didn't think much of it until I overheard her telling a trainee, " If they don't specify I just give them well". Now I don't have an issue with that. But, when our bill came she charged $18 for the manhattan!! $18 for a well drink?? She also was completely unprofessional gossiping about other local establishments and their employees. I was able to get two beers and a meal at Telly's for under $30 and the waitress was personable and professional!! Save your money and skip Pendy's. Price gouging patrons is not a way to do business...really wish it never changed ownership. Bummer too, because we were looking forward to a new place to go... Also, the restaurant had a musty smell...

I was somewhat underwhelmed. Despite having a reservation we (4) were seated at a table that felt like it was squeezed in as an after thought. After being seated by a lovely hostess we waited quite awhile for a server. Seemed to be some confusion as to which server was to take our table. While Eric was very knowledgeable and pleasant, we waited again for our soup and when our entrée arrived they were lukewarm as if they were sitting for a time. A woman ( the owner?) came over to ask how things were, but didn't identify herself. I'm sorry I didn't tell her my concerns then. Will probably give them another chance. Was hoping for a new neighborhood hangout.

Stopped by last Friday and sat the bar. The bartender greeted us immediately and handed us menus within minutes. The cocktail menu had lots of fun options, including an expresso martini. We had cocktail shrimp and a blue cheese pizza. Both were good. The bar area is mostly the same as before with the addition of some fun new wallpaper.

We went to Pendy's for New Year's Eve dinner and we're so glad we did. Everything was perfect from being greeted warmly upon arrival to shaking hands with the owner on the way out. Our waiter Eric was top notch. He was so attentive and kind. The service was the best we've had for a long time. The food was delicious as well. We had the root vegetable latkes which were fantastic. Highly recommended.
